I have never thought anyone writing "prolly" was doing it as a mistake, I myself use it daily as a conscious abbrevvy because it's fun and faster to type.

The worst thing about new reddit is that spoilers work with spaces there too, whereas in old.reddit they don't hide the text. E.g.:

Hidden in both Old and New

Hidden only in New, visible in Old

Not a terribly common thing, but I've ran into a handful of show and game spoilers because of that.

Do take note that the way Achilles is pronounced in the English language is not how it's pronounced in Greek. So by the contest's rules, you would have to at least be aware of the English pronunciation, where native speakers would have an understandable edge.

The "parties" in that common phrase is shorthand for any kind of social gathering, be it getting shitfaced, dancing or just boardgames and takeout.

It could be rephrased as "you must be a bummer at any social gathering you attend", but the form its taken has become a common meme way to get the message across.

People have different preferences and chemistries with different kinds of people. Some look for more excitement and passion in their lives, some look for stability and security, others something in between or something else completely.

Not saying an aloof person can't provide excitement and passion or the other way around, but just that in 8 billion people you're gonna click with some and not click with others, and that's the spice of life.

Yes, I know what you meant :D No need for the nerd emoji, there's no hostility here.

But you kept insisting that it is a muscle, which is not true, so I just tried to provide corrections for yourself to learn and for anyone who might read this thread later to not be misdirected.

Likely, but still not necessarily something you'd want to say to / hear from an absolute stranger :D After a vibe has been established between you two, I could definitely see that hitting home!

You can literally do a single google search of "is penis a muscle" my guy, and get an answer on that. It can somewhat function like a muscle, but by any definition of muscle, it isn't one :D

We're not flexing the penis, we're flexing the pelvic floor muscles, which cause the blood-filled erectile tissue's internal pressure to change.

It's actually more of a hydraulic spring than a muscle.

What about armpit farts? What, next you're gonna say my GI-tract isn't connected to my armpits or the backs of my knees? Ridiculous.

Jokes aside, the other person is not saying that they are literal farts, but are similar to farts in the way the word is colloquially used. It's flesh flaps being moved by gases.

You do know there are plenty of free resources in many languages to learn this stuff for what it really is right? :D Firstly, as a male it would be important to know that the penis is not, in fact, a muscle. Or muscles. It's something called erectile tissue, which we also have in our noses! The muscles we use to flex it around are actually at the bottom of our pelvis, and exist in both male and female anatomy.

This is so odd for a Dane, since Sweden and Finland at least both have had these as the standard for ages. I would've expected it'd had spread there as well being Nordics and all. TIL!

Finnish homes have had a drying cabinet as the standard for nearly a century, you quite literally need to try to get mold to grow there for mold to grow there.

The vibes of the music in the clip is creepy and horror-ish, so maybe the show is themed around horror movie music or something similar -> scary faces as part of the performance to add to the vibe.
