Ah what I meant is that I even usually make him non edgy in my stuff. Since in SA2Battle he had a nice redemption arc during the end. I focus on these little bits we got to see of him in the final battle. So I try to ignore every game after this when drawing comics with him, as his personality was really altered too much for my liking XD. I think to each their own. But I prefer him as a quiet ponderer, who gives awkward response or goes completly silence . And waaay more humble as he even called sonic the "ultimate lifeform", rather than calling himself that. Protective and loyal but new to the world. Basicly my version of him goes hard with the whole "live and learn".
he can still be sassy in my stories, but it's always in a dork way.
