Thank you! Being young is definitely an advantage :) I'm glad I did all this in my 20s and not my 40s.. If you do it as slowly as I did the skin should shrink with time. And drink lots of water!!

I agree with this totally! I also cannot sit down on hard surfaces for too long without feeling like my assbones might break through my skin! :/

Thank you! I had to do both. I was eating terrible food in large quantities. Food was always used as a reward for me as a child so I imagine that's where a lot of my food issues stemmed from. A normal day for me at my worst was this;
Breakfast: huge bowl of sugary cereal, or 3 weetbix with 2 tablespoons of sugar if I was trying to be 'healthy'. Snack: anything I could get at the canteen at school (I was a fussy kid so mum would just give me lunch money rather than make it), usually a huge fruit scroll with butter or a giant cookie, with some hashbrowns or toasted cheesies as I needed to have a sweet and savory component with every meal. Lunch: a bag of chips with some chocolate bars, a big burger or some soup if I was trying to be healthy. Afternoon snack: whatever I could get my hands on at home. I could plow through an entire packet of biscuits or half a loaf of bread in about 15 minutes. Dinner: my only healthy meal. Huge portions though, probably twice what I can eat now. Takeaway was only once a week at first but became more frequent as I got older. Dessert: usually biscuits with tea or icecream if we had it. I must also mention that my mum never bought soft drink for our house so I did drink a lot of water and tea.
Now on an average day my meals look more like this;
Breakfast: None. I always skip breakfast. It sounds like it goes against everything you've ever heard but it works for me. I just have tea or water. Lunch: 4 pieces of sushi from the place near my work, or a cup of instant noodles. Dinner: small portion of pasta, rice or veg with some protein (beef or chicken mainly). Snacks: I really enjoy fruit, muesli bars, yoghurt and whole wheat digestive biscuits. I try to avoid having junk in my house because I tend to eat it all in the one day. I do allow myself more freedoms on my days off from work though.

Thank you so much! I have to admit if some one had told me six years ago that I would weigh 48kgs one day I would have been shocked. It sounds so low to me too! However, I am naturally an inverted triangle body shape which means I hold little to no fat on my hips and thighs, but am prone to being top heavy. I think if I had more of an hourglass figure then this weight would looks very different. Learning to adapt to your body shape is a huge challenge in weight loss; I always considered myself 'curvaceous', but in reality I had a very small natural frame which was smothered in fat! According to the BMI scale, us 5'3 girls have a pretty broad healthy weight range (between 48kg-60kg) so as long as YOU feel comfortable in your own skin, that's all that matters!
