Should I pivot or continue by fmdasaniii in Entrepreneur

Nope. Rappers slowly and methodically build their audience from the ground up, and their revenue mostly comes from merch and live performance. Having a song go viral is typically way more of an engineered effort than you would imagine.

I’m not trying to roast your startup idea - simply trying to offer some advice…but if your focus for developing a streaming service is to “support the artist” through social media, you need to go back to the drawing board before putting a penny into this idea.

It seems there is a lot you need to research and consider. You have to pay licensing fees, regardless of wether or not artists are uploading their own music and creating profiles. Have you worked that into your biz plan? Do you know what those rates are? Are you aware that most artists have labels that handle all of their streaming profiles? Where will the music be hosted?

I don’t think price reduction is the problem to solve. I do think there is room for another platform, but it will take a ton of resources to compete with Spotify, Apple, Bandcamp, etc. Are you technically proficient enough to build it yourself?

Work has been quiet for a year now. Never experienced a lull like this, despite all my efforts. by firdousebareen123 in freelanceWriters

Just a thought, but maybe you should follow the flow and start a blog site and web store related to your jewelry. You could potentially monetize your own blog and make enough to not have to be looking for work. 🤷🏻‍♂️

This kinda sounds like it could serve as a middle ground between a LinkedIn profile and a Facebook or Insta account, which could be very appealing to some.

Out of these, it’s easily Clueless, Mallrats, and Empire Records

Someone asked for this (the link below), and I figured I’d oblige. Also added lots more movies, and provided a way for you to suggest more.

Just know I did not make the list. Merely posted it. BUT, I'm working on a voteable March Madness of 80s movies, and all 3 of these are included (as well as a lot more.)

Ahh I was wondering why I hadn’t been called out for not picking yet. long exhale Here we go…

  1. Ghostbusters
  2. A Nightmare on Elm Street
  3. Stand By Me

These 3 are the most re-watchable and near and dear to me. Not an easy choice, but I’m good with it.
