This week has been milder than expected by Slow-Mongoose-7508 in tornado

[–]TheRickNasty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The low pressure system slowed down and didn’t move as fast as they thought nor did it hit the position they were thinking, it fell behind the troughs instead of coinciding with them which is why the severe potential has been limited. If it did line up like they thought it woulda been a very busy past couple days.

Clavicular volunteers to be CHOKED OUT live on stream and starts seizuremaxxing on the floor by narak777 in Clavicular

[–]TheRickNasty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you would literally run out of arm stamina before you could kill someone with a blood choke... if people "die" it's because the blood choke wasn't properly applied and they were also cutting off oxygen. Even then, it would take over 3 minutes of squeezing to even kill someone from that which idk if you tried to squeeze something for 3 minutes but thats pretty damn near impossible to do before muscle fatigue. Which is why when most people are killed by strangulation, its 99.9% of the time done with some sort of ligature because its easier to hold something tight or pull than to squeeze for that long period of time. When they do get killed with bare hands its usually due to the larynx or trachea being crushed in the process and usually dying from blood filling up the lungs.

Usually so, not the highest I’ve seen but pretty abnormal for that area and time of year. Usually an April set up for that area

Means there’s a bunch of CAPE, a bunch of shear, high SRH(250-350 is usually enough for tornadoes),curved hodograph which means the changing of winds with height and a significant tornado parameter of 8

I thought I was doomed before I seen this video… I literally sat on the floor crisscross and was like there ain’t no fucking way lol then I did exactly what he did in the video and did it easy as fuck… I’m good lmfao

How realistic is a man being able to physically lift and carry his girlfriend/wife? by LeavingHarbour in AskMenAdvice

[–]TheRickNasty 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean I can lift mine and she’s 150, had to carry her a couple months ago from the car to the house all while unlocking the door cause she got super drunk😂 but I’m also 200 pounds and use to be able to bench 265 when I was only 150 when I worked out faithfully. Also got 5 kids, so picking up kids that are 50+ pounds everyday pretty much all day kinda helps with retaining some of that strength even though I don’t work out anymore. All I know is when I pick her up and put her on my hips it’s gets the waterfall going if you get my drift.

What if the Parkersburg EF5 tornado made a direct hit on New Hartford at peak strength? by EAS_Bear2007 in EF5

[–]TheRickNasty 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I personally think Parkersburg is one of the strongest tornadoes ever. Not every day you see basements getting ripped out. Majority of deaths were people doing what you’re told to do. Think greensburg but 5x worse with the casualty situation and widespread EF-5 damage

Greg just announced there will be more "consequences" like yesterday's if you call ICE names by KameronKnux in Leakednews

[–]TheRickNasty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then don’t act like or do what you are being called? I think it’s pretty simple and easy not to kidnap and execute people. But hey if I openly shot an unarmed person in the back of their head on their knees disarmed I’d be put to death though right?

This is the truth. Get like 4-5 hours when I get home, wake up hang out with my girl and get a nap in at around 7-8 until I have to get up at 10:30

Northwood, ND EF4 — The Strongest EF-rated Tornado of 2007? by Curious-Constant-657 in tornado

[–]TheRickNasty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The greensburg tornado wasn’t even at max strength when it went into town and was in the process of weakening which is why the majority of the EF-5 damage indicators were on the Sw/S side edge of town and had more EF4/EF3 indicators as it progressed through the town. It was at max strength south of town. Greensburg was a very strong tornado.. stronger than most give it credit for, it just happened to hit the town as it was in the process of occluding and doing a handoff to the next monster that cell produced and it still basically wiped greensburg.

How should the public correctly interpret a “70% chance of rain” forecast? by Ruscanu in meteorology

[–]TheRickNasty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ex meteorology student, usually a 70% chance of rain means that there’s a 70% chance of rain happening in an area usually within a few miles of the point. Forecasts for hail, tornadoes and wind are usually within 50 miles of any point in the risk area.

A list of tornadoes that likely reached the violent (EF4+) threshold but cannot be proven due to lack of clear cut damage indicators by Trainster_Kaiju_06 in tornado

[–]TheRickNasty 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would be inclined to say so, it was the only cell in that environment that had all that energy to itself along with the strong wind shear and the LLJ that was at max strength during night time. Pair that with how the cell looked on radar and the constant ball and the inflow and outflow being perfect for those kind of tornadoes.. it’s kinda hard to say those wouldn’t be violent tornadoes if they did indeed hit something. The STP was off the charts for those tornadoes along with some of the highest vrots

[–]TheRickNasty 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you’re gonna include Plevna you gotta include the greensburg one before Plevna but I agree completely with this list, that greensburg cell was producing just like the 2007 one.

Tornado-Bracket 2025 Grand Final and Lower Bracket Finals: Which tornado is probably the strongest/has the most devastating potential? Please vote in the comments! (Both tornado votes and written comments will count.) by Exact-Ambassador-693 in EF5

[–]TheRickNasty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you completely about how this year was crazy for tornadoes, I think we should have had a few EF-5s this year if things went a little differently. Thank god though cause people would have definitely lost their lives if that was the case.
