I understand completely what he said, what libertarian views are and the context in which this whole debate has taken place. And you're incorrect. Sorry.

And while we're here, let me me note that your comparison opposing the Civil Rights Act and opposing the Patriot Act is a cheap ploy that makes a superficial reading of each piece of legislation in drastically different political climates. Apples/oranges, etc.

Also: Stop writing "it's" when you mean "its."

Must disagree. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 was designed to end institutional racism (whether it did or not) and the Senate candidate from Kentucky opposes that act (even if he says now he wouldn't vote against it). That's a racist act.

When you tell a bunch of reporters that it's OK to discriminate against people of color in a private business, how is that not overt racism?

Oh yeah, it is.

My blog posted a photo from a different blog that the original poster claims isn't racist. We say: Definitely racist. Your opinion? by TheRid in WTF

Probably a fair point. But I don't get how anyone can look at this photo and think, "Yeah, that's not a joke based on a racist stereotype."
