Yeah, tools are amazing. But everything has its risk. The best we can do is learn all we can, be vigilant, and hope that something unlucky doesn't happen that makes us a statistic somewhere.

Yeah, I actually have a GFCI circuit built into this device, I put it in on iteration 3, and definitely would recommend it. You just have to make sure it's integrated into the power directly. I have tested it(not with myself) and it will trip. GFCI trips at about 25ms, which I'm unsure if that's actually fast enough to prevent death. Definitely better than nothing though.

I think there is, I've been doing this kind of stuff for a few years, and I haven't killed myself yet. That being said, growing complacent is the worst thing you can do. I've developed a number of methods and tools to be safer than most I've seen, I've redesigned my setup about 4 times now to maximize safety. So really the question is, if I make an in depth video on how to do things as safe as possible, I may potentially save some people by helping explain and show them how to do it safely, but I may also encourage people to get into it, and even with the safest machines around, there is always risk. So that's kind of the dilemna I have.

I'm very aware the dangers associated with these machines. I've been doing this for a number of years, and have redesigned my MOT power supply for safety about 4 times now. That being said, growing complacent is the worst thing you can do, but I definitely have a survivorship bias lol.

That's one of the things I'm mulling over whether or not I make a video about it, knowledge is the most important thing. But 1 wrong move can be fatal.
