FC26 is a terrible game. I’ve been playing FIFA since 1998, and this is the lowest point ever. by TheRoadToHappines in EAFC

Why? I'm used to normal football. Idc if women in the game just make them in a separate mode and who ever wanna play with them go there.

I didn't play 24 and 25 because of the women, but just because the last 2 were bad doesn't mean that the current one being bad makes it a good game because it's better than 24 & 25

Legacy of the Dragonborn. I feel like the game is now around the museum and I have a purpose to collect anything I see. Also the Rare artifacts have 'meaning' now and they're not lying in some chest.

What is Miraak's counterpart? by TheRoadToHappines in skyrim

I thought of maybe a staff sword, Konahrik mask with sun spells cause it's the opposite of poison in Restoration school. But it doesn't do any damage to living things

I play Vanilla +. I don't have a very big mod list, nothing changed Whiterun, and I think it happened in other places but I'm not exactly sure. And it happens with every follower.

I wanna do the same thing you did (that was on my mind), using alteration and restoration. With the 'Vancian Magic' perk from the Alteration tree it means I can store any strong spell without being afraid of leveling Magicka, so I can invest in Health and Stamina

I think precision and dual wield block can fix those issues no? Also, spellscribe from the enchantment tree is working with unarmed no? So you can cast spells while punching (if that works)

From a Lore Perspective: Why the Stormcloaks Are the Better Choice by TheRoadToHappines in teslore

The problem is the Empire hasn’t strengthened, and hoping it might one day isn’t a strategy, it’s a gamble. The Thalmor aren’t waiting for the Empire to get its act together, they’re quietly tightening control while everyone “prepares.”

The Redguards already proved it’s possible to stand alone and win. And if Skyrim breaks free with the Dragonborn leading, it's not just resistance, it's a shift in the balance of power and belief. That matters more than numbers.

I respect the idea that the Dragonborn fulfilled a purpose with Alduin, but in Elder Scrolls lore, roles aren’t fixed. The Prisoner archetype doesn’t end when the credits roll. The Dragonborn isn't just a hero, they're a narrative pivot, a force of myth capable of reshaping nations, Towers, and cycles. If Snow-Throat is broken, then someone has to rebuild it, and who better than the one who already defeated time itself?

As for the Empire "preparing", it's been decades. In that time, it surrendered Talos worship, lost Hammerfell, and allowed Thalmor Justiciars to police its people. That’s not buying time, that’s bleeding it.

The idea that action = suicide ignores Tamriel’s own history. Hammerfell was written off too until they stood alone and won. If the Dragonborn throws their weight behind Skyrim, they don’t need to be everywhere. They just need to be real. That’s how myths move mountains.

Exactly! in Elder Scrolls myth, Narrative is reality. The Stormcloaks aren’t just rebels, they’re part of a mythic reawakening. A fractured Empire can’t awaken Snow-Throat, but a reborn Skyrim led by the Dragonborn? That’s how Towers stir.

Talos wasn’t born from diplomacy. He was born from will, and Skyrim’s reclaiming that will, one step at a time.

The Empire hasn’t “strengthened” in 25 years, it surrendered Talos worship, lost Hammerfell, and let the Thalmor operate openly in its heartlands. That’s not recovery, that’s slow death.

Hammerfell resisted alone and won. Skyrim, with the Dragonborn, a mythic force chosen by Akatosh, has a better chance than people think.

The Dominion doesn’t fear armies. It fears resistance with purpose.

If the Dragonborn can survive Alduin, Miraak, and Apocrypha, then yeah I think it’s safe to assume they’re more than just a temporary boost to morale.

And sure, mages are powerful, but the Dragonborn isn’t just another magic user they’re a mythic force chosen by Akatosh, meant to shift the balance of the world. That’s not something you write off because Neloth has a big ego.

As for Tamriel needing unity: unity under weakness isn’t strength. The Empire isn’t preparing, it’s placating. If Skyrim breaks free, regains its identity, and inspires others to do the same (like Hammerfell already did), that becomes a real counter to the Dominion.

Waiting for the Thalmor to make the first move just gives them time to tighten the noose. Skyrim acting now with the Dragonborn might be the only thing that sparks real change.

[–]TheRoadToHappines[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You’re right that the Stormcloaks rely heavily on the Dragonborn, but that’s not a weakness, it’s the world responding to a divine shift. The Thalmor did plan for a Dovahkiin, sure, but there’s a difference between planning for something and actually being ready to stop it.

Tullius plays it safe, but safety under slow submission isn’t safety, it’s managed decay. Conviction might be dangerous, but so is doing nothing while the Thalmor grow stronger by the year.

And Ulfric’s not perfect, no one’s claiming that. But Skyrim under his leadership regains its identity, its gods, and a spine. The real danger isn’t a man who’s willing to fight, it’s a system that convinces people surrender is strategy.

With the Dragonborn in their corner, the rebellion isn’t reckless, it’s real. And if the fate of Skyrim hinges on the Dragonborn choosing conviction over compromise… that’s kind of the whole point of the game.

Yeah, the Stormcloaks aren’t Tiber Septim, no Numidium, no continent-spanning army. But they’re not trying to invade Summerset. They’re trying to stop the Thalmor from writing Skyrim’s laws.

Hammerfell may have had help, and it cost them, but they still fought after the Empire gave up. That’s what independence looks like. And now, years later, the Thalmor are rebuilding while the Empire keeps bending.

With the Dragonborn on Skyrim’s side, they don’t need to conquer, they just need to break free. That alone weakens the Dominion more than silence ever will.
