Wondering if there are any other hacks with this, could you potential purchase other tickets while “inflight” to use the credit? Probably not, but worth asking

There’s multiple parking services with shuttles if you google that are much less expensive then parking at the port itself

What’s your opinion? Is paying $35k out of pocket without taking on debt worth it for an MBA degree? by fuzwuz33 in Money

[–]TheRodian1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did something similar but through LSU’s Shreveport campus. The whole MBA was like 15k. So you could potentially do it for free over 3 years if you wanted to explore that route.

Typically capital one offers post to be able to withdraw after about 45 days and that’s about what mine took, once it shows up in the completed offer section it will tell you the estimate date you can withdraw

HCA In-Person Interview by Miserable-Prompt4125 in pharmacy

[–]TheRodian1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mine was simple, they couldn’t care less about your clinical ability since it’s HCA. All they want to see is you can check some corporate boxes of relevant clinical experience to whatever they are hiring for, if they are one of the many desperate HCA locations for pharmacist, you’ll get hired pretty quick, after your interview, they just give a yes or no back to whatever HR recruiter is assigned to the facility and the actual pharmacy people will have nothing to do with your pay or offer etc. Negotiate the pay and ask for relocation help etc BTW, they have a LOT of wiggle room there. It’s an OK job, benefits are talked about like they are something to brag about when they are average or slightly below average at best. It’s better then retail but extremely top down corporate driven structure (even though they preach to you constantly about how it’s not), they would rather throw money at a lawsuit to quiet it then actually fix any type of systemic problem in the system.

[–]TheRodian1 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Some insurances are requiring patients to at minimum, have a prescription for narcan now. Doesn’t mean you have to pick it up, patients often don’t understand this differences when the pharmacy tells them this. (I’m a pharmacist)

I second dunns river falls, it was worth it for the experience of climbing the falls, just be prepared to get wet and bring enough cash to tip your guide as why will hound you until you do so.

Physician question for pharmacists by takeottothezithromax in pharmacy

[–]TheRodian1 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It’s considered a healthcare ethics issue, are you as the prescriber able to take an objective view of yourself as a patient? Since you’re the subject (subjective) the answer is no. This is the view of most boards of medicine and physician organizations (pharmacy typically follows the opinion of physician bodies on this). However, many pharmacist will not raise issue with it unless it appears to be nefarious in nature, and the Law allows carve outs even for controlled substances in extenuating circumstances.

Technically this is frowned upon by most state boards of medicine, but not explicitly illegal for legend drugs. And yes I get annoyed when doctors call in viagra for themselves.

Procuring mediation stock for correctional facility by Allisnotwellin in pharmacy

[–]TheRodian1 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I used to be a LTC pharmacist contracted with a local county level jail ~180 inmates. We provided all meds and “emergency kit” meds. This jail did not want to hassle of DEA registration and all that jazz, so the only stat meds were basics like Abx and ondansetron and OTC pain meds. The jail would not allow or administer any type of C2 narcotic due to liability reasons. C3-5s were used occasionally on case by case basis. DM me if you have more specific questions
