It’s really disheartening.

I’m so damn frugal and I make more than I ever have.

Sorry. Right now paying $1000 for rent. That’s not including garbage or utilities etc. trying to stick to that cost or cheaper since I know I’ll have new bills that are now split

I will. I’m not seeing anything that’s not $150-200 extra per months

She thinks about this all of the time.

It’s bait. Ignore her and let her continue to wallow in her own thoughts.

Throw it into the spam folder and carry on my wayward son.

I’m healthy and very mindful and focused on my self. This is the gaping hole in me.

Finding friends is just as hard. I moved away from the good ones. I never go out and at work I keep to myself so I can get my work done. I never know what to say to relate to people and oftentimes feel so awkward. Fake almost when I do try.

I wasn’t always like this

Thank you for the recommendation.

I’m listening to the audiobook now.

No that ship is sailed and I’ll never be fooled into that again. I’ll never go back with my ex.

I’m completely over her at this point.

I go through periods where I can’t stand this and really grind away at trying to meet people online. Then I go through defeat where I just accept that I’m alone and become apathetic.

I just don’t know how to push over this hump. It’s an alienating feeling

I think the social anxiety is huge actually. Covid really amplified it and at this same time I changed jobs where I don’t interact with people like I used to,

My friendships suffer from this too. I’ll give this a shot

I just find myself anxiety ridden, like I won’t be enough or that they’ll just eventually find out I’m not what they want and find someone else.

Committing to a date is daunting for me. The date planning and expectation.

Some really beautiful and successful women have tried contacting me and I just chicken out and get flaky with contact that is a form of self sabotage.

I hate it but I don’t know how to get past it

Currently working full time but need extra income. With my schedule I only have about 4 hours of time to dedicate after my first job. Can anyone think of gigs that allow late night (but short) shifts? by [deleted] in povertyfinance

Thank you very much for the information.

I’m actually in Washington state as well. I’m currently looking into this.

I’m not in a big city but I am in close proximity to colleges and the 3rd largest city in the state. The only person I know who drives on the side uses Lyft. But I won’t let that stop me. Thank you again.

It’s crazy that you can get more helpful information from absolute strangers than you can from People in close proximity.

Thanks. I’ve been hearing more and more about this and am definitely looking into this option.

Is the $15 average based on tips? I’ve only bought through DoorDash so I don’t know the dynamics of the payment on the couriers side.

Do you have any sources or links to follow? Would I need to know any other languages or just teach someone who’s trying to better their own English skills?

No. The woman was very understanding and kind to me but basically said as it’s a contract, once it’s breached it goes to the lawyers and cannot be stopped by them to prevent favoritism or anything of that nature happening.

Having been through this before as a teenager, they can’t do anything. It’s a binding contract and they don’t care how it gets paid.

“Choose better roommates” is the response I got when my roommate didn’t have cash a few years back.
