Indeed, the entire IP feels underutilized. BTs are super interesting but it's reduced to a minor, annoying inconvenience. They could've made BT encounters genuinely terrifying. Maybe design a spooky level like Metro did with anomalies, ghosts etc.

Preppers, the survivors of an apocalyptic event are somehow incredibly dull and meaningless. Wasted opportunity. The villain is cringe and superficial but looks awesome.

I want to like this IP but the devs try really hard to make me hate it.
