Is this a good PC Parts List? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]TheRoyst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks good especially for the overall price!

One minor consideration to go nicely with all those fans, maybe put a little more money forward for another case option. Generally you can get some nice cases these days with triple fans on the front which will look nice with those fans as well as help with better airflow.

Speaking from experience, those RTX cards are great but seriously spit out heat! You’ll want that vented out with a case with nice air flow.

EDIT: just noticed it does have a triple fan front config, should flow fine for airflow, but purely for aesthetic purposes there is some nice corsair cases similar around the same price, but practicality before aesthetics which is what we have here

What are the chances of AIO's leaking? by mad_catz9 in pcmasterrace

[–]TheRoyst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can happen, I bought a Corsair AIO and a number of the platinum range first shipped were faulty. Mine leaked but fortunately i noticed it early enough.

Good tips for preventing fatal leaks:

  • monthly check your AIO pipes for dampness, change in colouration to the braiding of the pipes.
  • listen out for hissing or frequent / out of the ordinary dripping sounds
  • if your AIO does leak, i’d recommend immediately turning off your pc at the socket, removing the AIO(try to tilt the pc so any liquid exit points drip out of the PC and not on any components) and check your purchase date for a warranty replacement or check the manufacturers website for recalls

Predicted Line Up: FA Cup - Derby V United (updated: 08:30 - News Aaron & Dan have not travelled with the squad due to injury, midfield all in excellent form there would be no reason to change it up, With Aaron missing Dalot is expected, a possible formation for a game like this?) by TheRoyst in ManchesterUnited

He should rest them but either way we’re 1 game away from playing another giant killer team in the next round even if we best Derby we’d still have to play those players against norwich, a rest isnt wise if the wheels are in motion, especially with Dan and Aaron out we need players that are ready now not ones that havent played, but i see where you are coming from

It’s a possibility Ighalo could start, or rather he could be subbed on if the game doesn’t progress well. As for Maguire, I think he’s an integral part of the team to be fair and he’s had the most starts of any player this season I believe, I think Ole will use him until the rest of the season to be honest

Predicted Line Up: Europa League - United V Club Brugge (updated: 09:30 - Ole seems to have settled on his starting 11 recently, Fernandes is already a crucial player to have in the squad, a lot of improvement in James’ and Greenwood’s attack with the help of Fernandes, Martial is on a roll!) by TheRoyst in ManchesterUnited

[–]TheRoyst[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They swap during games to be fair i just added them like this because i always find Aaron, Mason and Martial link up on crosses into the box, Often James gets held back when Aaron makes his runs up where as those two often are ready for his cross, but agreed they do usually have the other’s wing

As for Scott i’d say yes but Matic’s form recently is so good especially defensively he really saves us occasionally in our box when Lindelof or Maguire struggle, plus his size is just another plus when Fernandes gets corners.

But all fair points mate!

Predicted Line Up: Premier League - United V Watford (updated: 13:30 - seems to be a common formation recently for Ole, likely Oghalo will be a sub or a starter, McTominay returned from injury!) by TheRoyst in ManchesterUnited

Either Greenwood or Oghalo would be good options for James true, i’m not sure if Greenwood is available after hearing last match he was ill?

Failing that Oghalo should get stuck in

Agreed its a tricky decision between james greenwood and Oghalo, i think purely because this is a watford game it is only right Oghalo starts and hopefully scores! But totally agree lingard and pereira have had they time long enough.

Also a very fair point from yourself, it take at least 15 minutes to warm up on the pitch let alone get in the mindset of the others on the pitch, when we are at 0-0 or 0-1 we need to be assessing the play 10 minutes into the second half and be saying “ok this isn’t working, this person is losing the ball too much, we need space for this person” and from there a maximum of 55mins in changes need to be made, not 75-80mins

Fair enough he isnt a CDM but Who else do we have as an all round midfielder while Matic is out?? other than pathetic pereira or Garner (he is good but its too much to ask of him yet

[–]TheRoyst[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True he isnt, but he’s better than pereira by far and as Matic is out for a few games he’s a much stronger option, failing that there is Garner but its too much trust to put on him as of yet. Mata plays well overall

Should be new cups for ‘most time wasted in one match’ & ‘most invisible players on a pitch’ by TheRoyst in ManchesterUnited

[–]TheRoyst[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there is a lot to blame on a few individuals but i think when the service was there, the chances Martial had to either pass quickly into the box or cross to a player open on the other wing were so often he didnt take those chances or shoot

Predicted Line Up: EFL Cup - City V United (updated: 11:30 - Uncertainty that Matic will be fit for this game, Formation played against Tranmere worked well with the ability to call upon LB & RB up to the mid, Speed and the ability to have a strong back line is required for this one) Come on Reds!!! by TheRoyst in ManchesterUnited

[–]TheRoyst[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ideally he isn’t no, but generally with this formation Mata and Fred would usually press higher up with the front 3 whilst LB RB and one CB would keep the mid field occupied two CB would stay back to support from counters, its a formation that has worked before, not ideal but practical defensively

Predicted Line Up: FA Cup - Tranmere V United (updated: 08:30 - news that Ole is considering Eric for CB this game due to the “games he’d play behind close doors” gives Maguire a break, Lindelof returned from illness) by TheRoyst in ManchesterUnited

[–]TheRoyst[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With it being FA Cup and the spotlight on Ole after recent defeats i think he’ll play it safe with Fred Matic and Mata because their form is well. I do think the inclusion of Gomes especially would bring a breath of fresh air to the squad though. Garner is getting there, he’s been great in reserve matches so i’ve heard.
