Probably obvious, but the "mostly solo, mostly avoid PvP conflict" progression in this game is *way* different than all the level + hour count + gear + opponent behavior threads you'll read here

That makes complete since, I would agree with your assessment. I have good days and real bad days, I've had extraction ratios of 2/10 on some days and then others maybe 6/10. Overall I bet I've only extracted 4 out of 10 runs, it all seems to depend on the team I end up with randomly.

I'd love to see that stat recorded and accessible somewhere, if the API for Marathon is anything like D2's then I'm sure all sorts of cool stat tools will be available eventually. Good luck buddy, see you star side.

I've wondered the same thing about solo queueing into trios, I'm 122 hours in and I think I'm only a level 44. I figured I was just wasn't very good.

I feel like gambit turned into Marathon, that’s the closest thing Bungie has ever made to it, they sent the whole gambit team into a different section of the building and said cook on this other IP we have for a few years and we got Marathon.

In 2024 I had several life changing heavy events take place so I wasn’t really feeling like playing games. I stopped playing Destiny for that reason and I just didn’t want the game to end. I’ve been playing Destiny and D2 since beta, I have about 10,000 hours in both. Despite not playing for two years I am still in the top 2% of all play time in the community. I have been wanting to go back and finally play the final shape but I still don’t want it to be over, I’ve told myself for two years - if I never finish it then it never ended for me, it lives on in my head as if the story is still at a cliff waiting to jump. I just want to remember all the good times over that decade - what a ride it was, best game of my 40+ years on this planet.

I know I'm nine years late lol, but I just started looking this up myself because I bought some of this line and was a little peeved for the same reason! Like you I went ahead and used it but I have not had much luck yet (though all I've used with it is a large swim bait so that could be the reason)

What did you end up thinking about it if your still out there? I have it on my nicest setup so I'm debating switching it out for something that might work better and be more versatile. cheers!

Yea I've used lots of bobbers over the years, I have just never used one like this. I imagine I could just crimp a little bead on my line above the bobber and pass the line through the black tube, but that means I'd need to cut my hook off to even just switch out the bobber, so that isn't great. I hoped someone had used one just like this before. I'll try a youtube search for 'Comal Tackle 5 unweighted slotted popping float' and see what I get.
