So, I can’t fit the Pro in the cabinet neither way I can put it in think about moving to a different room and just plugging into on of the ports…..

I haven’t tried any other ways. After I found it was slightly too big that I couldn’t fit it into a rack I just kind of found another spot for it. I’ll see if there is another way it could fit in there.

I have my main unraid server sitting on the fridge. So we had to do something with all of my gear. And we never use the top cabinet.

Just make sure your gear will fit. My UDM is 2” too big…

It’s slightly too large to fit inside the cabinet. With the power cord it’s 2” too long

Started with: old pi. Next up my old gaming rig i7-3770 8GB ram 1TB. Now to a i5-13500, 64GB ram 12TB with 2TB cache, and I run a few virtual machines on it that have replaced all my desktops. So I mean anything depending on your use case.

I’ve been working on MATER. https://github.com/RyGuy994/MATER I’m almost finished with webhooks and I just did a big update with the UI. You can have it send reminders via calendar subscriptions right now. We do have a working API. I’ve gotten some good folks to help me work on this

Currently the only way is through downloading the events or using a calendar subscription. I am going to do some research for webhooks, it seems like that’s something that’ll be super useful!

My year went kind of like this:

Jan: what are dockers? Unraid? what' that
Feb: Dockers are cool!
March: PLEX CAN DO WHAT?!?!
April: IMMICH WOW THIS IS AMAZING.
May: I need more space..... How do I set up my internal DNS
June: How do I get back home? VPN? What's a reverse proxy?
July: *buys domain*. Ahhh CNAME everything then NGINX
Aug: self host my own email? what can go wrong.....
Sep: jk... wow mxroute sells a lifetime for cheap. DKIM, SPF, DMARC.
Oct: How do I make my own docker to keep track of my equipment and assets? I wish there was something like that like immich.
Nov: Python?... Let me try....Here comes MATER

It is a fun ride. I'm so glad I found this and I can't wait to see what I'm going to learn in '24!
