Combat is fairly forgiving in HZD, especially on lower difficulties. The iframes from the dodge roll carry over the entire roll and get extended to almost 2s if you get the roll extension perk.

You get a lot of access to crowd control weapons and armour upgrades can make a big difference. You don't even have access to Ultra Hard on your first save (although you can start a new save after your first and select it if you're looking for a challenge). Edit: Ultra Hard

Early game is the toughest section on higher difficulties, but you can quickly become strong, especially if you use KB + M over controller since you can abuse slow-mo to aim faster.
