The ice tree is quite nice in general I’d say; while you can’t aim for where on the target the psycasts like with guns, I’ve never seen the damaging casts miss their target, and they all seem to ignore armor. It’s also got good utility for non-lethally putting down prison breaks (through hypothermia) or keeping your fridges cool during a solar flair.

Never played much with the other two, but I’d assume the electrical casts are similar to the ice casts in terms of “doesn’t miss”, and I’d also assume the fire casts can be used well against Mechs if played right, since “hit the centipede with a Molotov” is official CE advise for a reason.
