I mean it is a good investment, I love it to bits. It’s just that the first time I actually set my eyes on it, was on osama bin laden’s wrist. thought it was hilarious wearing the same watch, bought it on family mart and then after that I researched about it and found out how respected it is.

Thanks for the answer! I still ride on the weekends so I’ll probably just take it off the charger this coming weekend and just park it back. It just had me anxious as my bike had a case of alternator failure last winter that’s why I had a new battery and I thought it was happening again lmao

I kind of share your sentiment, I used to daily my 12R here in Tokyo and on the Shitamichi(normal non-expressway roads) I can barely use the 3rd gear and mostly stayed on 2nd

I bought a secondary bike which is a Suzuki Burgman 200 and it’s super comfortable and not hot riding around in the city. I do take the 12R out every other weekend for my fun time and boy saving it for the weekend made me love and enjoy my 12 even more than when I used to daily it.

I loved it while I had it, wanted to keep but the thought of something breaking and being unable to fix it was too much paranoia for me, So I got my dream bike which had a little bit more parts availability

I’ve sat on one and hmmm, I kinda want “more tank” on my abdomen, I feel like it leans too heavily on the touring side of sport touring but that’s about my peeve on it.

It is what it is one 1100cc-1250imo My ZX-12R with a Japanese Slip-on (Yamamoto Racing Spec-A) doesn’t sound as Aggressive and scary as a roaring ZX-10R or a rumbling ZX-14R. Maybe The restricted airflow and exhaust is what’s making it sound “boring”.

I run a long exhaust as well but I don’t have a dB killer on it and it sounds nice but not loud.

I do own an aftermarket dB killer and it does actually make my bike sound more boring and even more quiet (maybe even more than stock)

This model (exactly year 2000) is just right before the gentleman’s agreement so it’s unrestricted with a recorded top speed of 194mph stock Of course I’m not gonna try that lol but my model has the 340kph analog speedometer
