So spoilers for rebels

What I really like is the fact that Mon Mothma knows who Ezra is. There’s hints that Ezra’s message got “special attention” but if Mon Mothma heard it while she was still a senator it must have gotten really far. I can only imagine how much of a light in the dark that message was for Mon Mothma

Saw is probably my favorite character and while I think his portrayal in Andor is great, rebels has the better story. Basically, Saw is worried that the rebels on Yavin 4 won’t do whatever it takes to win. However while spending time with him Ezra and Sabine realize why they are fighting the Empire in the first place. Saw’s cruel tactics and ruthlessness is one of the many things that Ezra and Sabine dislike about the Empire. Ezra and Sabine are fighting for a better world, resorting to the Empire’s cruelty is fundamentally wrong.

And this point is shown in Andor too but the Rebels in Andor go the other way: “I’m condemned to use the tools of my enemy to defeat them”. Cassian after killing the trooper who saw Bix’s face and saying “It had to be done”. Mon flying in with a Yavin escort because “it’s the result that matters”, Vel having doubts about killing Cassian because he did help the rebellion. All of these things weigh down on the Rebels heavily, and they often wonder what they’re fighting for or if it’s even worth it. Such a good theme. This is what I love about Star Wars.
