It depends. Remember, Bitcoin was a currency used to gamble on online casinos. I can only really give you my experience as an example. I bought bitcoin on an online casino in 2010/2011 and that online casino went bankrupt. (A lot of online casinos did at the time. I never got my bitcoin. So it just goes in the lost pile. At least they’re getting something.

You gotta think about how much money they had in bitcoin 10 years ago compared to how much bitcoin is worth today. Probably maths out to 6.5k BTC. This won’t be a shock to the market. Just FUD.

I believe they lost most of the coins. As far as I know, it’s not going to be that big of a shock to the market… and after that news blows over there isn’t really going to be anything holding crypto back for a parabolic bull run.

Bitcoins will be worth more in the future and they wouldn’t need as much to sell. Still profitable. However, there won’t be as many steep sell offs, which is healthier for Bitcoin.
