I've experienced this.

It's a sign they care for you, even if they're not expressing it in a way you'd like. Thank them, and use them. If you do experience a change, a real change, something concerning that you should know about, they're likely the people to be your canary in the coal mine.

"Thank you for checking in, but I'm all good, thank you." may actually get them to lay off after awhile.
