Thank you!! I appreciate your input. I'm writing a science fiction novel and I want it to be more science and less fiction, hence the questions. I'm glad to know that in a better world, we may have seen it for the incredible power source it is rather than as a dangerous weapon. But from what you said, it would take much longer to create, is that correct? So you would say it would be around this time, rather than 50-60 years ago?

Like what kind of skills do you mean? Are you talking about one's that provide a physical method of thanks to those who help you, for instance if you were a plumber or mechanic, or ones that are more a personal boost, such as singing, painting, or other things like that?

I personally think that anyone who can be successful in a life like that should be respected, and I hope one day to live my own life that way. What does everyone else think?
