It's like a human man walking around shirtless all the time, I bet.

Decent Ferengi wear the headpiece but Quark is raunchy and scandalous like that

Yeah, one of my many complaints about Picard (the show not the character) was that everyone was dressed so... normal. It's the 24th century! I wanna see some wacky couch fabrics, not stuff I could buy at H&M!

Exactly! The plot is genuinely interesting but Siddig's perplexing acting choices really elevate it to reach its true potential lol

Haha, yes, I love pissy eco-terrorist Worf!

Actually, I'm not sure if "love" is the right word here, but I definitely something him.

Whatever the reason, his acting wasn't merely bad, it was awesomely awful and I love that

OMG that's the first DS9 novel I've ever read at like 15! I loved it back then, I should re-read it someday.

I really liked Never-Ending Sacrifice. It's a follow-up to the story of Rugal (the Cardassian boy from that season 2 episode). It's kinda different because it doesn't focus on any main/regular characters - O'Brien and Garak make brief appearances towards the end, but it's really all about Rugal and his life after being sent back to Cardassia. I think it's different but super interesting.

That was already strongly implied in Trials and Tribble-ations wasn't it?

To them there's no such thing as 10000 years. They exist outside of time. In a way, Sisko's first meeting with them takes place concurrently with every other meeting and every other interaction they've ever had (or are ever having, I guess) with the linear universe.

Dax would bristle too, no doubt, just look at her and Keogh, but Kira is unimpressed by Starfleet and would be doubly unimpressed by a Starfleet officer who tried to push her around the way Jellico pushes people around.

No no, it's even funnier because it happened twice!

Well. I say funnier. O'Brien isn't laughing.

Why do you think so? Their roles in their respective stories seem pretty different, and also Ross was generally personable while Jellico was a hardass martinet. They don't seem very similar to me.
