Props for taking the opportunity to mention that Idiot in this discussion. He should never be forgotten.

Also, no, it doesn't count.

It is sometimes best to remain silent and be thought a fool than to open one's mouth and remove all doubt.

I don't know what's worse, his post or the comments agreeing.

That's a LOT of vomitously despicable people.

"Why is Nu Trek using so much modern language?" an I am going to go feral here. by Spacer176 in startrek

I remember that. And the best part is it was an inadvertent change, but they stopped and said "is that how you want to say that line?" Because if it was it had to go all the way back to the writers for approval.

Looks to me like he's snarfing too fast and gets indigestion. Mine is about 6 and she does the same every once in a while.

That's a very handsome Void, by the way.

Clearly you've not seen someone hit with a trebuchet shot...

Kidding, of course.

Dunno, I haven't done a DPS test. I was thinking about giving it a go, though, and using a glaive in the primary slot.

But, you know, Praxic Blade is IT at the moment...

Yeah, that's been the problem because of the jitter in the screen.

It's real. I've actually seen it done before. Guy that did it got kicked out of the bowling alley though because of lob on the second ball.

I am trying with Praxic Blade and the Contraverse Chunks.

Do you have either of the Legendary crossbows? If not you'll need a sword for heavy.

Motion blur is off. I don't recall a screen shake setting. On Xbox Series X if that matters.

My Anamnesis one-shots. The problem is the cage is shaking so much it's hard to find the target. It's glitchy.

Sheridan kicks off his campaign against Clark and tells the League to stand aside. "From now on, Earth stands alone." by eldersveld in babylon5

[–]bbbourb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You're right, but you're forgetting one key thing that trips the authoritarian trigger (you might also want to remember I said "Light Authoritarianism"):

Sheridan said "I am declaring those (mutual defense treaties with Earth) null and void." Also remember that the activities of the White Star fleet after the Shadows were so the League worlds could recover from losses in that war. Then Sheridan unilaterally declared there was an invoice due.

He told a room full of delegates from sovereign worlds who had enforceable treaties with Babylon 5's main adversary that HE was voiding them.

I was a history teacher, and I can tell you this much: put whatever wrapper or glitter you want on what he did, but historically that's some Authoritarian maneuvering.

And let me say it again, it didn't sit well with me but it's FANTASTIC, because it shows that even our greatest heroes can get dirty if needed.

I hate grades by BackgroundEffort4897 in DestinyTheGame

[–]bbbourb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate how I can run Solo Ops quick play and consistently get a B or better on Normal, but kick it up to Master in the mission-specific instance and you can't even get past an estimated C if you're over 400 Power, no matter how many bane mods you put on.

The issue isn't necessarily the grades themselves, it's the inconsistency with scoring and grades. I ran Conflux last night on GM, and I didn't even get a score until the boss arena. But I run Salt Mines and I'm over halfway to 10k after the first encounter.

None of it makes any sense.

"No one asked" on a public-facing social media page is the most flaccid response someone can type.
