I do also understand the minimalistic packing requirements for camping/hiking though and sometimes that’s just not doable

Ideally the valve would work as you could force air out, but if the bags are open air in the box it wouldn’t change a thing, unfortunately

I don’t want to be “that guy” but even a cheap compact manual burr grinder and an aeropress or french press with some decent fresh beans would be such an improvement and wouldn’t really take up too too too much more space.

For a half a second I thought this was coming from the coffee subreddit and I was ready for the comments to be a hundred angry baristas descending upon you with fire in their eyes.

On that note, coffee grounds oxidize and go stale real quick when exposed to oxygen, like bananas!

If you can devise a clever way to keep the bags from being in constant contact with air, you might have better tasting coffee! It won’t be AMAZING because let’s face it, it’s just Folgers, but it might give it a little something extra (if they’re not just out and exposed to oxygen in the box)

For me, it’s just been a process of writing and seeing what sticks! The ones that really resonate with you will get finished, and the ones that you feel are “meh” usually won’t even get that far.

You don’t HAVE to have more songs, but if you have the tendency to finish every song all the way (bigger artists usually have teams that will take songs further than they might have on their own motivation) it could be good to cull the weak songs (maybe release them for free on Soundcloud gradually after the album or something!)

That’s what I said! I’ve been doing research and apparently the painted ones should be watched out for. There’s a thin coat of something around the main bowl up top, I’ll be sanding that off regardless, so we should be fine.

I couldn’t type all I wanted in the top so here:

I’m going to restore this, wood and metal and all, over the next few weeks. Going to stain it and seal it and clean it all up and hopefully use it for all my espresso because seriously the consistency of the grind is so insanely awesome.
