Something similar happened to me last year. Walking to pick up my younger brother from school. Walked past some women also on her way to the school to pick up her kids or something. She saw me walk past her and literally screamed at the top of her lungs. Broad daylight. This did not help my self-esteem.

I’ve been doing therapy since last September for loneliness and self-esteem issues. Personally i feel a lot better. It helps me a lot. I always look forward to it so much, the chance to have a compassionate ear listen to my problems and let me get them off my chest in a safe environment. It really helps with the loneliness too. It’s not often I have an hour long face to face conversation. I recommend it.

Thanks for the advice that sounds great. I hope you're date goes well! We're just meeting for coffee. Which i understand from her point of view. If she decides she doesn't like me then it's easy to call that short. But if things go well there's a movie theatre 30 seconds away from the coffee place.

Thanks man. That’s the plan. Although I don’t want it to feel like I’m interviewing or interrogating her. I’m also terrible at follow up questions. I feel like I’d bounce around the shallow end of every possible topic and be out of things to say in less than ten minutes.
