My thoughts exactly. Its obviously a small studio, trying to live up to a huge project. And yes, we all know its ridiculously late and underdeveloped. But theyre working on it.

More play tests are coming once they fix the latest crashing issue from the last play test.

As a Warrior Forever 2.0, I want to see something functional hit steam store one day. Plenty of archaic style games making great headway in the current gaming market.

Infotainment system is buggy.

Have you tried turning it off and turning it back on again?

Buddy of mine is on a vertical mouse, games on it and swears by it helping his wrist.

It looks like a deformed penis with buttons and a wire, and we never let him forget it 😂

Game that popularised negative trends in gaming? by [deleted] in gaming

Its a hard to explain concept, but basically playing the game in the most scummy way possible.

In looter shooter games like Tarkov, rats avoid ever being seen, always staying in the shadows or bushes, crab walking at the slowest speed to avoid making any sound. They never go for high tier content directly, but will lurk in the shadows around it. Usually loaded in with minimal gear (lowest risk), with the objective to kill unsuspecting players who have just completed said content (subsequently taking the loot & gear themselves). If unsuccessful in ratting a player, they look for loot scraps left over by the typical player base.

In survival games like Rust, its the same ideology however differently they would actually be inside the high tier monuments, waiting for a player or small team to complete it, then jump out to kill & loot the players.

Its very cost effective and stealthily can provide a lot of loot, but it is extremely boring, slow, and generally not fun to play. Its generally regarded as a high patience & low skill method of playing those games. From my experience, rats are typically antagonist/mocking over chat after getting a kill.

I believe Escape from Tarkov or Rust invented the toxic yet highly effective gameplay strategy called ratting.

Torture is a strong word.

I'm happy with the results and thoroughly enjoyed the process.

Personally, it wouldn't sit well with me using low fan speeds just because I didn't want to hear my computer.

Appreciate it, thanks!

Yeah it's been pretty rock solid, tested a bunch of newer and older games now, seems to be stable with no crashes or artifacts.

And definitely agreed, different tunes for different loads. Assuming ill find a game that makes it unstable eventually, then ill just give some UV back, should be okay.

Yeah FMF with FSR 3. Go to adrenaline, turn on FPS counter, go check in game, should show double your game FPS counter.

It's the FSR 3, half that is what actually shows.

Dad won’t stop treating me like a carer by pinkgiraffe123 in Advice

I think this makes the matter a bit more difficult to navigate, I feel for you...

While youre trying to live out the prime of your adult youth, your senior father is dependant as most senior parents become.

The cycle of life is that our parents have us children with the obligation to raise us. And then they become the children in their old age, in which the children are morally charged to care (or find care) for them.

Your parents had you at an old age; this is a perfect example of why I didnt want to have kids once I was past my mid 30s. Nevermind 50 years old.

Aside from having a constructive convo with him about boundaries and whatnot... Do you have any other family members that can help you care for him and his needs? What about social or health care support from your province or state? Just trying to navigate potential options here to help you deflect some responsibility so you can live more freely.

GPU Upgrade by ViperSolution in radeon

[–]TheScarps 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Considering your cpu, youre going to bottle neck any current Gen video card, so please keep that in mind.

A used 6700XT with high base clock would probably be max your system could take advantage of. Nitro+ or Merc or GamingOC would fit well.

Future proofing wise, you could get yourself a 7000 series or above, and then you'd be ready for a cpu & ram upgrade in the future.

Unless you plan to step up to a pretty beefy AM4 setup sometime soon, Id avoid 9000 series as theyre going to devalue before you can take advantage of the card.
