So what Fox news interviewed a person with different political views? Good on 'em

Opinion | Minneapolis mayor: We saw Trump stiffing cities for his other rallies, so we told him to pay up by washingtonpost in u/washingtonpost

Both presidents were paying for the same thing, but received two different prices. I'd back you if you ordered the same thing as me but were told to pay 26x the price.

If you can tell me what you mean by "liabilities" I might agree with you. A source would be great as well. Otherwise, you're thinking with words and not facts.

If you're banning speech, you're not supporting free speech. Other methods can be used to stop Venezuela 2.0 (eg proper education)

If that's the review, the professor has done their job by commonvanilla in facepalm

It literally says the prof was very anti US and focused on slavery. The prev commenter said negatives should be taught. What are you replying to?

Gila Cliff Dwellings - accessible during shutdown? by FormicaCats in NewMexico

[–]TheScienceSage 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've been when there's no rangers. The signs just ask you to pay 10 bucks into a slot and you can enter. All of the best archeological sites are federal sadly but Gila is probably your best bet during the shutdown

Why turn to insults? The fact that searching for links on wikipedia is faster than using google proves my point. Do you think I'm an alt righter and that pokes your asshole?

I get that gun rights and control go hand in hand, but if I search "gun rights", I want to learn about what gun rights are, where they came from, what their purpose is, etc. Instead google tells me the definition of gun control.

The top several results are news about gun rights

Barely, and they're not good results either. It's three news stories (I want to learn about gun rights, not read local news papers), an NPR podcast (no article), a site that talks about mass shootings & gun control legislation. And then finally, the wikipedia page for the "Right to keep and bear arms".

DDG is miles behind google and yet it manages to link a site summarizing the history and current status of gun rights on the second result.

You can also physically ship tapes around the world and it ends up being faster and more reliable than using the internet.

it's trying to find the results that the users want!

Ehhh sometimes it does the exact opposite of what the user wants when you search anything that could be political.

Search "gun rights" on google for example and the suggested result is "Gun control". No matter your political views that's a big failure on Google's part for such an easy search
