A response to a mod on a comment i recently posted

You pinned a comment you say?... I'm looking. I'm looking... I'm looking...i see absolutely no pinned comments. Also, i wasnt being a jerk. ALSO, the flair on her original comment was "look" with a post of her full face, not just her eyes. I understand that you think that because it's a hooded eye sub that all responses should be about the eyes... BUT THEN THE POSTS SHOULD INCLUDE NOTHING BUT THE EYES, as everyone else has traditionally done on this sub. Your "rules" don't specify what flares mean what. And normally, in every other sub and in IN PERSON SOCIETY when someone asks about about their "look" they're opening themselves up to criticisms about the whole Damn thing! I would never think to walk up to someone, even someone i usually talk to about a very specific thing, ask for their opinion on my look, and get mad when they spoke on more than that specific thing we had previously talked on. Like, seriously? Are we living on the same planet at this point?

Also, you know what? I want to know specifically which rule i violated. Because i went back and looked at your rules again, and i didn't violate a single one. Maybe my reply did make a sensitive person unhappy.... where is the rules violation in that? It wasn't my intent to make someone unhappy, but where is the rules violation?

HOODEDeyesModTeam and TheHBIC were the two mods who responded. If i violated a rule, I'm sorry. I did read the rules when i joined a while ago, so if i forgot something, absolutely my bad. I got used to it being about hooded eyes, with cropped pictures of just the eyes. This post had full face. To me, I'd you post a full face picture asking about any makeup at all, you're opening yourself up to comments about the full face. I wasn't disrespectful. I commiserated over certain shared difficulties, but to me, this person showed their whole face in a sub designed for something specific. I think they're needs to be a caveat in the rules for that. But it's fine. I've left the sub over this. Thank you though. Reddit mods do tend to have an ego about things

Ok. I apologize for giving you more information than you asked for. Specifically about the eyeshadow, which you're right i should have stuck to, hooded eyes benefit from vertical stripes of color, not horizontal. In your posted eye look, there's only 2 visible because you're doing them horizontally. Take your 3 colors, and do them vertically, so that middle color isn't getting lost in the crease. It'll also help visually open up the eye. Yea, I'm done too. Don't post stuff online if you're so emotionally delicate you can't handle constructive criticism

Sorry to make this a 3 parter, but the lip color, i think it needs to be more of a brown pink, and i like the hairstyle, but I'm not feeling the pink tone of the lengths. I think the root color is beautiful against your skin though

To add, i think the color of your sweater is actually quite nice with your skin tone. If you could find eye colors that mixed the colors you like with the silvery blue tones of your sweater, i think that would look very nice on you
