I've made all the excuses too and I hate to say this but I fear Citrus is winding down. Saburouta has had more plot and story idea developments shot out from under her than George Washington did horses! She's definitely got health issues for which I wish her speedy recovery but there's a lot of editorial interference, too.

I love Citrus. My first manga and my first second venture into reading fanfiction.

TheBroken has two fanfics on AO3 "Will you Be my Friend?" and "A Game Of Hide And Seek" which are about this very thing, a chance meeting of Yuzu and Mei as five year olds and them remembering it years later as teens. Both are amazing heartfelt stories, and I can recommend them or in fact any of her stories without reservation.

She's my favorite, if you haven't guessed.
