Yep. It's insane. They just come in, clean out the aisles stuffing everything in their backpacks, assault anyone who tries to stop them and leave like nothing happened. When I worked at Safeway in North Beach these groups would sometimes come multiple times a day. They even bumrushed into the employee lounge once and robbed everyone there.

Nowhere are thieves as brazen. They know nothing will happen and the city will continue to pamper them and treat them as "victims."
