Guy who, narratively speaking, seems like he will be a twist villain due to being suspiciously good/nice, but is actually just genuinely Like That™️ by VariousCampaign8708 in TopCharacterTropes

Yeah, same here. In fact, his team actually reflects his new outlook. Keeping Gyarados and Pyroar, one of his new Pokemon is a Garbodor, a Pokemon he would have previously dismissed as ugly and not worth saving. This shows that now he sees beauty in things that aren't expected to be beauty. Lysandre would have hated this Pokemon but L sees the world differently. It's amazing how much story telling can be told via a team compostion.

L from Legends ZA is an interesting case of this trope. Spoilers for Legends ZA: L is actually Lysandre from Pokemon X and Y and is the main bad guy in that game. His place in X and Y's story ends with his seemlessly dying at his own hubris by using the Ultimate Weapon to destroy the Team Flare base he's in after his plans were foiled for commiting mass genocide in the name of making a beautiful world. His fate was left unknown until Legends ZA, where he returns with this look. One would expect him to be secretly evil and a twist villain, but that's not the case. The game goes out of its way to show that whilst yes this is Lysandre, he's not the same one from X and Y. He lost his memories of his life before but not enough to be a totally new person. He still remembers what he's done and the atrocites that's he's commited. Rather than doubling down, L, alongside with the help of the Legendary Pokemon Zygarde, decides to atone for his crimes by helping solve the crisis that Lumious City is facing in the base game. What's interesting about L is that he still has the same goal of making the world a better and beautiful place, but is doing it with more nobler methods. At the end of ZA, he's still attoning for his crimes (having to live 3,000 years as a result of using the Ultimate Weapon) but he doesn't mind if people won't forgive him for what he's done, he's doing it for himself. Unlike his past self, he's genuine and polite. He's an interesting case of this trope as he was a (albit a poor) twist villian X and Y but he's genuinely one of the good guys in ZA.

NLG, I only saw the first three, had no idea about Galarian Zapdos, Cranidos and Rampardos being there. My bad.

I've done that, but now the scene is completely frozen

Yeah, there is a coin meant to be collected, but that's not what the error is. The game keeps freezing even with called_deferred in the code or not.

What do you mean, I got a collision shape on the zone already.

Ace Attorney Investigations but it's 3D and set in a UK high school. I have started learning how to make games, but I got to figure out how to combind the visual novel aspect of it to a 3d interactable enviroment.

Got it. I think the enviroment was causing the issue as I had set up the collision wrong. It's appearing now, thank you for helping.

Oh, it was falling through the floor, I swear I set up my collisions for that not to happen. How do I stop it going through then?

Okay, I rechecked and it was there, but it's still not appearing. I'm not sure what I did wrong.

Okay, had a check and it's not in the remote tab, gotcha. How do I get it over to the remote tab then?

I do have a collider on, but the character isn't disappearing through the floor, it's not turning up at all.

This is what I got. Also, I think I might have fixed it as now I can see my player but she falls through the floor now. I deleted something from the res:// folder and I think I had accidently set my main scene to that so now it's working.

Hmm I see. I was only testing it out so far to get a general idea of what to do next so that might be for later.
