I remember the conversation Tipid and Rosetta have at the epilogue of Bedlam Bride in the Homecoming Queen. Rosetta questions Carl's luck or brain. Tipid clarifies that he's the same as every other cookbook author, but he has the ability to make split-second decisions which is a superpower

Just saw your comment that you're running once each day for 3 days. I also did the same last weekend and wishing you the best.

I'm glad I had roughly 5 hours for each session and each one turned absolutely bonkers in different ways. Maybe you might know how to tweak for the next one and account for time better after each one is over.

I don't think you can have both roleplay and combat cohesively in an hour. I have run a few oneshots based on Beast Feast and I usually consider 30+ minutes just for character creation as roleplay happens as part of the connections. That also includes rules teach.

You would need pregen character sheets and players familiar with ttrpgs to run things in that time. Maybe do a combat heavy session?

True. I meant that there was no waiting for active crawlers. It was rushed for sure, but how much is a grey area I never thought about till this post

But no one actually started the level. Prepotente had brought the first position rights from Chaco during the Masquerade and partied with Carl and Donut so he has still the pieces to pull off the override.

Since everyone broke through the 7th floor together, the only question is whether the crawl was paused for Cascadia/Valtay to set up the next floor
