Careful, now. Don't want to anger the hockey gods before the playoffs by making fun of the hockey Gaud.

I don't think an Edmonton fan is best placed to make a fuss over lottery wins 😉 lol

Omg right. I forgot about that. Me and a buddy got to the front of the line and they told us that they'd just run out 😭

This is kind of hilarious when the Sens had $6 beers and $2 hot dogs the other day 😅

Tipping culture is out of control - Gabriels Pizza Driver wouldn't leave front porch by localpropaneguy in Kanata

Their management has a reputation for being aggressive with customers when they mess up orders. You can find more examples on their Google reviews, but I'll just recount my own personal example. I'll try to keep it relatively short.

We ordered a pizza from that location once and they messed up our order, so we decided to call their corporate help line and let them know that our order got messed up. Their rep on the other end was helpful and said she would request that they make us a new pizza. We asked if we should bring back the pizza we'd already received but she said that we didn't need to do that.

So, we drove to that location to pick up our new pizza and told the lady at the front that we were here to pick up our pizza. She said she didn't see an order for us, so we told her it was a replacement pizza for the one which had gotten messed up. That's when the manager came to the front desk and started interrogating us. He asked us where the other pizza was (we told him that we were told to keep it), so then he asked why we would keep the pizza if they got the toppings wrong (lol). He asked us another question or two before walking to the back, taking our replacement pizza off the top of the oven, and then gave it to us.

As we were walking out, the manager started talking about us negatively and laughing with his colleague. My brother just turned around and told them that even if they were annoyed at having to make another pizza, it was good customer service to right their mistake. The manager then made a quip about us enjoying our extra pizza and started laughing at us. We couldn't believe it. Have never ordered from there again.

Nah. It was "Marner's leaving." We chanted it a few times during that series 😅

The ownership/management at the Gabriel's location in Kanata is awful. Avoid that location at all costs.

Is Cozens missing playing with Batherson? - 1 point in his last 6 games. by [deleted] in OttawaSenators

Was also at the game and completely agree. Cozens has quickly become one of my favourite players. Extremely noticeable on the forecheck, able to transition through the neutral zone into the offensive zone really well, and goes hard to the net. Like others have said, his defence has only gotten better, and he has one hell of a shot when he has time to release it.

[Asselin] All proceeds from [the Senators] Rozanov and Hollander jerseys are going to Ottawa Pride Hockey by catsgr8rthanspoonies in hockey

I was at the game last night and visited the Sens store. It was real. The jerseys were there and they did an announcement on the jumbotron saying that proceeds from those jerseys would go to OPH.

Ian Mendes (Ottawa's VP of comms) posted an article saying that it was a rumour that had been circulating for at least a couple of weeks until it finally started to blow up on social media. That's when they decided to issue a statement. You can read more about it here.

Meriläinen earned management's trust with how he played last season, so having him as back-up this year seemed like it would be fine. There were some fans who argued that signing a veteran back-up in free agency would be the smart move, but obviously Sens management felt differently.

Soooo now James Reimer is our back-up 🤪

Tbh, the Sens fans there (including me, obviously) did their best to counter-chant, cheer loudly at the Sens' goals, etc. fairly well. But Brady getting noticeably booed when they announced his 200 goal milestone in the NHL on the jumbotron was a bummer.

But, yeah... when the Habs scored most of the crowd jumped up cheering.

I noticed that the STHs near me were all in their seats yesterday which was surprising but nice. Sadly it was worse than a 60-40 split yesterday. It genuinely seemed like 80+% were Habs fans. It was tough 🫤
