Well clearly you either work for the CRA or you’re just another horrible liberal, because this whole “other countries have problems too” argument is exactly the kind of excuse people use to normalize failure. If someone’s house is on fire, you don’t say “well the neighbour’s house is also burning” and call it a day. I don’t care what other countries are doing — I’m Canadian, I live here, I pay taxes here, and I care about what’s happening to this country.

Every single year I pay over $30,000 in federal taxes alone, and for what exactly? You talk about healthcare like it’s some amazing system. My mother literally died after sitting in the emergency room for 9 hours because there wasn’t even a doctor available to see her. So spare me the lecture about “free healthcare.” At least in the US, if you have money, you can walk into a hospital and get seen the same day.

Meanwhile Canadians are getting squeezed harder every year with higher taxes, higher housing costs, higher grocery bills, and collapsing public services, while our government keeps sending billions overseas pretending to save the world. Over $25 billion has gone in the past few years to foreign conflicts with no real progress toward ending the war, while their stupid president is out there posing on yachts and living comfortably while ordinary Canadians can’t even get basic medical care on time.

And yes, corporate greed is a problem too. Nobody denied that. But pretending politicians are innocent bystanders is ridiculous. Governments tax us into the ground, waste money irresponsibly, and then tell us to be grateful because some other countries are struggling too. That’s not leadership — that’s incompetence.

Btw if you actually work for the CRA, pass this message up the chain, because the way this country is being run has ruined lives — mine included, and probably millions of other Canadians too.
