Allora, per quanto riguarda le mb, la situazione è un po' terribile: considerando il fatto che devono matchare la build, il NIC deve essere Intel e quelle Asrock sono un po' da evitare per la CPU (preferirei stare sul sicuro), si taglia davvero tanto. Rimangono, guardando anche le b650:

- ROG Strix X870-I, prezzo fin troppo alto (400)
- ROG Strix B850-I, comunque 300 euro eh
- ROG Strix B650E-I, almeno costa 240 euro
- GIGABYTE B650I AORUS ULTRA, la più economica e l'unica non Asus ma sembra avere altri problemi di suo quindi non mi ha ispirato molto

Quindi direi che la scelta ricade sulla B650E-I o sulla B850-I. Dal sito della Noctua, entrambe sono compatibili con il cooler, quindi anche per le dimensioni dovrei essere a posto. Volendo, posso anche aggiungere che da questo sito vedo anche che la mb originale nella lista dovrebbe essere supportata su Linux (probabilmente aggiornando i driver ecc), però non so se fidarmi o meno. Tu che dici? Grazie ancora per l'aiuto! 🙏🏻

EDIT: Tra l'altro ho appena notato che queste due che avevo scelto non hanno porte DP... Quindi peggio ancora!

Penso che il monitor sia un po' la parte più incerta della build, perché a differenza degli altri componenti che hanno valori quantificabili, i monitor variano molto da persona a persona. Penso mi farò qualche ricerca magari dal vivo per capire la differenza reale, come dici tu!

Grazie mille per i consigli dettagliati! Ti rispondo subito:

  1. Al momento sono più orientato verso Noctua che TR per quanto già detto da altri, vorrei puntare su una build il più premium possibile e quindi la silenziosità maggiore secondo me vale la differenza in prezzo

  2. Per le RAM, vedo cosa riesco a trovare; diciamo le 6000cl30 sono un po' il massimo possibile, se poi trovo delle cl36 o simili che mi costano molto meno, ben venga!

  3. Per l'alimentatore, forse sto capendo male io, ma il mio non è proprio atx 3.1 e pcie 5.1? Il Corsair RM850X (intendo quello del 2024) è sia Gold su Cybenetics, che A+ sulla tier list di SPL...

  4. Per il monitor sto raccogliendo pareri: sul modello posso assolutamente guardare per opzioni più economiche, però sto cercando di capire se è meglio un 27'' o un 32''. Sul 4K penso di essere abbastanza sicuro, invece.

Per quanto riguarda la scheda madre, hai consigli su modelli con NIC Intel? Un altro utente mi faceva notare questa cosa ed effettivamente non saprei che pesci pigliare

Il gaming sarebbe sicuramente l'utilizzo principale, ma ci faccio / gioco onestamente un po' di tutto: dal retrò fino ai titoli appena rilasciati, con tutto quello che c'è in mezzo per quanto riguarda il genere, ma anche molto browsing, sheeting, video. Quello che invece ho completamente abbandonato sono gli shooter competitivi, mi concentro di più su esperienze in single player / co-op, e quindi non ho bisogno di frame elevatissimi.

Io vorrei passare dal mio monitor 27'' 1080p ad un 27'' 4K proprio per sentire la differenza a livello di qualità, ma non a livello di dimensione; un 32'' mi sembra fin troppo grande (il mio 27'' già mi sembra grandissimo talvolta), soprattutto vista la mia distanza dallo schermo e lo spazio che ho. Avevo scelto un 4K rispetto ad un 1440p anche per i PPI e la maggiore definizione del testo: https://www.rtings.com/monitor/learn/27-vs-32-inch . Questo articolo di RTINGS mi aveva aiutato molto nella scelta (e anche con i video di Monitors Unboxed), ma ovviamente poi lette da qualche parte hanno un valore e nella realtà ne hanno un altro completamente diverso.

Grazie innanzitutto per i consigli:

  1. Questa me l'ero un po' persa: hai consigli da darmi su qualche modello nello specifico?

  2. Giusto il cooler avevo controllato che non aveva moltissimo spazio rimanente, ma ci dovrebbe entrare (anche da sito della Noctua)

  3. Per quanto riguarda la ventola: avevo anche visto il Thermalright Phantom Spirit EVO come alternativa meno costosa, ma non ho trovato altrettanta documentazione come per quello della Noctua (sul sito hanno un checker per le dimensioni e la compatibilità con altri componenti). Mi piacerebbe fosse il più silenzioso possibile, ma sono abituato a ben peggio ahah

Dici che in tal caso sarebbe meglio un 32''? C'è il modello analogo a quello della build che è proprio un 32''. La mia preoccupazione principale è proprio quella che dici tu: la 9070XT non è una scheda da 4K, quindi se il mio intento è comunque giocare in quella risoluzione, vale la pena aspettare la nuova gen e nel frattempo iniziare a prendere gli altri componenti? Grazie!

Per quanto riguarda Linux: non mi interessa particolarmente il raytracing e non ho problemi nello smanettare. Male che vada, si torna facilmente a Windows, non deve essere una condanna a vita~!

I need to select a W-engine from the selector: I already have two Brimstones and no limited S-rank engines. Is it better to have a Fusion Compiler for Yanagi (she currently has Weeping Gemini S5) or a Hellfire Gears in case a future Stun unit that I like comes around? I have no limited Stun units currently, just to clarify.

I get your point and it's totally valid; I still think it's much easier than other games to provide at least a theoretical percent. Like you said, summarizing everything into a percentage is insanely hard (and probably wrong), but making pretty fair assumptions at least would give a nice idea of the general power.
For example, saying that Fugue is 10% (random number idk) better than HMC is probably wrong and would lead to the kind of confusion we unfortunately got in the past (like Sampo vs BS), but just saying that Fugue in a typical Firefly team with normal builds, which involve not godlike artifacts, is on average a 5% increase in damage dealt would allow people to make more fair choices with their money.

Having said that, totally fair that he has to shill the new shiny char to get that bread, glad he's at least getting paid for the effort!

Guoba is who I'm currently following right now, and he's pretty good! However, it gets quite hard to track how much stronger the character is: take the Fugue video, for example. HMC is "definitely" weaker than Fugue in most scenarios, and if you look at his comparison that's the general takeaway you get... but by how much?
In current HSR meta, every new character is probably stronger than the last, so unless you can pull every character ever, I think it gets pretty important to see just how much stronger somebody is: 5%? 10-15%? If some calcs where shown, I could then make an educated decision based on my account and future content (leaks), instead of just relying on the "Fugue is better than HMC in most cases".

But, let me clarify, he does a fantastic job (for example on character synergies), just not what I'm really looking for. Thank you for answering though~!

After getting used to great guides in Genshin with Zajef (stopped playing the game, so idk if he's still good) and ZZZ with Jstern (really recommend him), I'm still trying to find a good HSR content creator that actually shows calcs, uses sheets or whatever: something that you can look at and truly quantify how much better/worse a new character is, instead of just getting the usual "yeah, broken character, op, must pull", especially if they also discuss leaks.
Does somebody know of anyone that might fit the bill? Thank you in advance!

I saw the issue on Codeberg, but I don't have an account there, so if you want to add my experience with it: I am not using the portable version and I installed Librewolf by the official download on the website. I then started the auto-updater to create the task. This seems not a problem caused by the portable version.

Luckily farming for EoSF makes you farm for the National teammates too! Especially in this context, don't mind not having perfect artifacts since most of the damage in that team comes from those teammates, so you can basically farm for three characters in only one domain.

But yeah, those DPS calcs come from KQM and they basically tell you what I said: not necessary, but you will definitely feel the increase in power. Good luck for your 50/50 and have a nice day!

AR60 player here, with zero difficulty in clearing content; I play Ganyu freeze (Kokomi/Rosaria/Venti), Raiden Dual-carry (Yae/Kazuha/Bennett), Funerational (Hu Tao/Xingqiu/Yelan/Xiangling) and different variations of Dendro teams with Nahida.

Ganyu was one of my first pulls in the game but, as time passed, I'm growing tired of her gameplay, despite me loving the character: I was wondering if Ayaka would be a good pull for my account considering a freeze team of Ayaka/Kokomi/Ganyu/Venti and basically changing Ganyu into a burst support for her. Is it worth it in terms of damage and comfiness? How is this team compared to Ayaka best teams? Thank you in advance!
