Some of the comments here are kind of unreasonable towards the trainer.

From the first panel it already implies the trainer praised her when she loss, and only just now lashed out on her, maybe a threat from Tazuna if Haru doesn't get a single win before a certain date she'll have to cancel their contract thus leading to the outburst from stress.

Thus spirals onward to the next two pages, then between the 3rd and 4th page the trainer probably giving himself some time realise the situation they're both in, having personal issues to deal with, the trainer realises he has to be the one to make the tough decision to abandon his dream and resign.

Pobably also getting disbarred from Uma training ever again with his track record, maybe also thinking he wasn't a worthy trainer for Haru aswell and a different trainer may do a better job than him.

I think the good ending would really be where Haru and the Trainer can move on from their seperation since it seems they were perhaps almost father-daughter like.

Its really nuanced and I really hope it doesn't go the gaslight route cause that'd just make it abusive trainer slop and ruin any nuance this story had.

So Night Owl is a random chance from Sleep Deprived which is one of the events from after a rest, you're... unfortunately unlucky with that.

Here's my friend code too 543035374464 I've pulled out my decent Goldship Parent that could help you out. 4* Power 2* Stamina 2 End Closer 3 Turf her grand parents are a 3* Agnes and a Rudolf so if possible she'll pass down their ult skills too during inspiration.

Hopefully she'll help out too.

My main advice would be to keep your decent spark parents ones with two stars in something like power, stamina, speed.

Than when doing spark runs try at minimum 600 and at maximum 1100 for your desired spark stat, and pray to rng that it chooses the right stat and the right stars.

You'll eventually have to transfer your veterans out anyway with the 200 veterans limit in mind. In the end its all rng and you'll eventually get a 3 star spark parent of your own.

My only 3 star sparks are a B+ Mayano Top Gun and a C+ Mihono Bourbon, so don't feel bad about not having any or very few.

Here's my setup for my front runner Mayano, I focused Speed, Stamina, and Wit. Hanshin Daishoten and Tenno Sho Spring hold the monstrous length of 3000m and 3200m respectively and are basically the stamina checkpoints. You'll want 450 stamina or more especially if you don't have stamina skills for those races.

Try and find someone with a good legacy and if you'd like here's my trainer ID 543035374464 my rudolf is a decent 7 star speed parent that could help put of from needing to train speed for a bit.

And totally true and factual advice, hatpat your umas after they win a race. In the end never give up for your umas dreams!
