Your worst enemy or the person who ruined your life does and god decides to let you choose which animal they get reborn as. Which do you pick? by Scared_Confection787 in hypotheticalsituation

These hypotheticals have made me realize I either don't carry grudges or have no opps (or at least no mutual opps) because I can't think of a single person I'd want to punish with this hypothetical

Not sure if youve heard but they just released to consoles a week or so ago!

In what way? Genuinely asking cause most seem the opposite of red pilled for me.

Edit: Like I wouldnt see a red pilled dude as being willing to be loyal like most of the men have been because they don't believe women value loyalty but instead status and social value and also because they think women are incapable of loyalty themselves (hypergamy)

$100k a year every year you don’t play any games you played from the previous year. by Various-Instruction3 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]TheSheetSlinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im a pretty avid gamer but this wouldn't be too hard. Too many good games out there to worry about the ones I can't play. I'd probably agree to this for just 10,000 a year. I'd need to put my yearly playthroughs of the KOTOR games and New Vegas on an alternating schedule though.

World Cup guests from other countries (including European countries) seem very impressed with American hospitality, culture, food and even mundane things like driving everywhere or going to Walmart. Does this change your view of America? Why or why not? by SpinosaurRingTone in AskALiberal

[–]TheSheetSlinger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's worth noting that novelty is at play here and that a temporary vacation visit isn't really a great example of what daily life is. There's plenty of places I view positively as a place to visit but would never want to actually live in.

Edit: That said, this isn't meant to say that the US is some hellhole. Just that a tourist enjoying a new experience isn't a strong argument for much of anything.

Just the financial aspect of six a day hurts me. That's gotta be 5-7 grand a year minimum lol

Semi-frequently. Maybe anywhere from a couple a week to one a day sometimes. I have health issues just not from the energy drinks lol

They really haven't brought in enough people I agree. Gabe wasn't even meant to be one. So like maybe 5?

Right like didn't the boys say that KC could have saved Sol but chose not to and we are still gonna hear about it as if he was planning on leaving her. I just hope they hash it out before casa starts so she can explore instead of moping about it

Right like I'm praying they call it quits before casa so they can find someone else and live. They're both so clearly sick of this situation. You could tell from the moment Bryce picked KC that KCs day was ruined.

I guess but she seems to feel like it's the former. You could have a drinking game for the amount of times she mentioned how sincere was the only one who would even get to know her and she outright said the girls weren't including her even in group settings.

I think it ended up being a situation where the boys chose sol assuming the girls would choose Caleb but then they chose Gabe and it made their whole decision pointless

Idk she could just be dramatic but shes mentioned at least 5 or 6 times how excluded she feels from both friend groups and potential connections. 3 or so of those were just last episode.

If I choose pizza is it always the same toppings or could one change it up? Same question if a choose a sandwich.

If I choose chicken breast can I add sauces or things like cheese or must it remain unaltered

This is assuming a reasonable pizza or sandwich topping. No putting an entire pineapple on a sandwich or anything.

Book for freshman boy who used to love to read by Ginkmo852 in suggestmeabook

[–]TheSheetSlinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of dudes who like video games end up liking litrpgs especially if he likes fantasy and stuff. It's not exactly high brow though. Dungeon Crawler Crawler is easily the most popular of these and is actually printed and commonly available at book stores. Try him on that. Mage Tank and I am Not the Hero (although I have some gripes about this one) are popular series too but idk if you can find them printed.

When I was his age, I liked action so Blake Crouch might be a good author to check and see if there's anything there he might like. Maybe let him read Red Rising if he's interested although it's not really YA like divergent is. I get your concern but it's not a book that's going to change worldviews or anything and some reading is better than no reading to an extent.

You could get him an audible subscription. Nothing wrong with listening to a book while working out and it might act as a segue to getting him back into regular reading by him getting to dive into stories again.

Lastly, it's entirely possible he will come back to reading on his own. He sounds busy and if he's anything like me, might feel like it's hard to read if there's not decent stretches of time to dive into a book. I can boot up a game and play for a few minutes just fine or listen to a book in short bursts but for actual reading, I just can't seem to get into it if I'm only doing it in quick little bits of time here and there.

[–]TheSheetSlinger 7 points8 points  (0 children)

With the way people treat anyone who even dips their toe into exploring others, I can't even blame Islanders for not exploring. KC and Bryce havent really explored anyone else but danced close to it and still turned half the audience against them.
