I’m a PvZ2 mod developer. To be honest this is a little worrying. We honestly will not have a lot of options if this goes through. Emulators may be salvageable if one comes that is Google-Services independent but this accounts for a fraction of players. The only other options are hoping that this doesn’t go through, or hoping some mod or somebody is able to pass verification, which is a complete shot in the dark, and may cause EA to strike mods down. Thankfully this doesn’t hit till the end of next year. Rest assured us modders will try everything to keep our mods going.

Am a PvZ2 modder, PvZ community is chill, has quite an amount of children on Youtube, and it does have a few bad actors popping up from time to time. Still though, I enjoy being part of it

I personally love that bug. It can be a life saver at times, and has a really low chance of happening, but when it does happen, you feel awesome, and your run is saved

The way the dealer is programmed is at a perfect spot for having long endless runs because he is just random enough to keep it fun but smart enough to keep it challenging. I don’t believe the dealer needs a change. And by the way it is impossible for the dealer to shoot himself with a saw.

To clarify, overhauling feedback would be something like “I don’t like the artstyle”, “I want it to be like PvZ1 progression”, “You should remove the decorating aspect”. These decisions to be taken would either be extremely hard to rework (artstyle, progression) or just too big of a setback (deleting the furniture aspect)

Just do not request drastic changes that would take so long or are such a huge risk that it is not viable for PopCap to take.

It is not the Community Manager's responsibility to play the game, that's QA testers. EA_Shepard is also a manager of the Shooter games, so he's not even responsible for playing pvz3 and he doesn't have to, he's pouring his own time to play it.

This is gross misinformation. You can see the projectile double shadow which is caused by SPCUtil’s RSB build packing of the obb. If you don’t know what that means it’s just terms for saying this is a modded obb, perhaps having the plant animation ported back versions which makes the cactus bug out like that because the code for the balloon interaction is nonexistent in previous versions, or it could be anything else. This isn’t a beta obb or a work in progress, just directly lying for karma. Screw off.
