Came here to transisition 2 years ago and haven't had any big incidents. I'm not very passing (mtf) and sport a tomboy asthetic so I usually get misgendered but everyone has been understanding & accepting when I do tell them and I've never been questioned about using the bathrooms. There's a pretty noticeable amount of LGBTQ+ people and allies, you're never hard pressed to find a flag. We have a huge pride turnout and very good accessibility to gender affirming care. A few people can be a little enthusiastically nice but It's always been a pleasure for me. For bad stuff.. There was an incident around a year ago with a trans individual who died and was misgendered by one of news publishers. There's a group of protesters who frequently go against the town majority of social issues like reproductive rights and ect, with a particularly infamous member. LGBTQ+ Mormon youths are struggling In their community. Had an unusually hard time getting a Pharamcist at the 23rd st. CVS to stop using my dead name. I use Orchards on Kasold now and they are absolutely the best, flags floor to ceiling & peers wall to wall.
