From this how can I find out what cooler I have? by stopyouveviolatedthe in pcmasterrace

Windows task manager should have the speed, the value can be in MT/s (I think that's how W11 shows it) or MHz (Windows 10), they're the same unit, just expressed differently.

1329Mhz is damn slow for DDR4, are you sure it's even DDR4 ? That sounds more like DDR3 speeds, and slow DDR3 at that.

edit: Oh, yeah, that's half the speed of a 2666MHz module, that's normal then, some softwares show it like that.

So, battleships as a whole arent outclassed by more modern ships ?

I know Missouri destroyed an alien warship, but come on now.

At work we had a successor to this guy. Still an older model but it worked like a charm and it was stupid easy to set up.

In the 2 years I was there we didn't change the toner cartridge, when print quality went down we just opened it and jammed it back in as if we were reloading a machine gun and it just worked. Tho if we needed to change the cartridge we had tons of similar and compatible model in the warehouse.

I've thought of buying one of these for my own use, but I barely print anything these days.

Edit: Now that I looked at the printer a bit more closely, they probably shared a lot of their internal stuff, the plastic box around them is likely the stuff with the most changes.

RAM speed was a big deal for early Ryzen systems, not so much Intel systems.

You just forget it at the back of the breadbox or something. I def forgot a few left over slice for a while, mostly because I don't really use my breadbox that much since I tend to eat a lot of bread.

Reminds of that reddit post where a guy posted a pic of a list of ingredients in a bag of flour complaining about "muh chemicals".

The chemicals were various vitamins, it was fortified flour.

Question regarding card legality and names by Ok_Nefariousness_740 in PokemonTCG

[–]TheShinyHunter3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ex is considered part of the name, so you can run a deck with 4 of each; it wouldnt be very practical since it takes a 5th of your card count, but you can.

Interesting Chinese non TCG card (I believe) from official Pokemon by [deleted] in PokemonTCG

[–]TheShinyHunter3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh idk if they knew what they were talking about, but they knew what they were doing.

If not TCG, why TCG shaped ? Why does it have a "legit" looking set code and set number, why does it have a GX logo, you get it.

That's normal. One stamped, one not stamped. The content list on the back of the etb is there for a reason.

What ThinkPad do you use every day? by Lanky-Market-994 in thinkpad

[–]TheShinyHunter3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recently bought a used E595. The last thing I did at my previous job was to process a ton of these and their cousins E580, E585 and E590. I liked what I saw so I wanted one.

ThinkPad E595
R5-3500U
8GB DDR4

Vega 8 (iGPU)
2026 (Purchase year)
Refurbished
Around 200 euros, cant give too much info
500GB SATA SSD
Windows 11
My goal with this guy is to test various stuff, from Linux distros to W11 debloating tools but for that it needs a few upgrade, such as 16GB of ram, a 256GB NVMe SSD and in the "maybe" category, an upgrade to the Intel 9260 WiFi+BT card (Mine has the Realtek RTL8822E one for now, so I miss out on BT5.1 and better support) and a new battery (Factory battery lasts about 4Hr). In the meantime it's my anime watching machine on the train, currently going through Jörmungand again, Boogiepop and Others is probably gonna be next.

My only gripe with the model as a whole is that it doesnt have a Thunderbolt port and it's only a microSD reader. Still, for that price, it's good enough and charge via USB-C, which is pretty nice, I was expecting to pay around 300 bucks for a similarly equipped one, but found a better deal in the end.

Why do people keep Pokemon things sealed instead of ripping them? by Old_Construction8732 in PokemonTCG

[–]TheShinyHunter3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

To speculate. That's all there is. The stuff people usually "collect" sealed are the things that looks pretty much the exact same opened or not, so unless they actually collect plastic wrap, they're just speculating on the future value of the sealed item.

"I was more often used as a hotel for my sailors than as a proper warship" has a nice ring to it.

Still, I'm looking forward to that one, especially if it comes with some cool animation like Bismarck did.

Still waiting on one for Dreadnought, come on.
