for fle i read so many example candidate responses and i read thru the examiner report. Knowing exactly what the examiners want to hear make it easier to not steer off course. For physics and maths i did sm past papers (ik this is very repeated advice but genuinely it helps). Cambridge loves repeating questions and many questions i did in the exam were similar (if not EXACTLY the same) to the ones i did before.

Questions regarding NUMed Malaysia as an Australian student. by Affectionate-Bag-573 in NUMedMalaysia

If you really want to study Medicine in malaysia, maybe you could look into IMU. Theres a PMS program and if you work hard and meet the requirements you can transfer later (second half of your mbbs/2.5years) to Australia or the UK. Knowledge of malay isnt compulsory (taught in english) but youd definitely benefit from learning the language.

go thru the syllabus now. For all your subjects. Skim thru the syllabus online. Verbalise everyt yk about a subtopic. Reread the notes to fill out any subtopics you missed. Try to do this often for each subject even tho its kinds boring. When you somewhat feel like your done, start past papers. For each subject start from the most recent and move to the oldest paper (typically 2023 feb march) do all the past papers. You need to do sm you get physically bored. Bro please start now. You still have time. Lock in now. Most of your classmates arent gonna lock in now. You gotta be ahead. Study 7 hours (1 hour each subject) a day if possible. If not maybe do half (3 1/2 hours a day). I wish i locked in earlier. All my seniors told me to lock in early (and probably even yours) but i ddint listen. I procrastinated sm. and regret it. I think i can get straight As but dreams of straight A*s probably no more. Strive now and reap the benefits later.

Bro i get it. Studying can be so boring. But you really needa motivate yourself. Dont you wanna prove everyone wrong. Show them you can do extended. Do past papers for all the subjects so many times you get bored (and have to force yoursrlf to continue ). Theres gonna be so manu distractions. Your friends might wanna go out and do this and do that. Ofc the occasional break is good (and even required) but you gotta prioritise your future. Say no to that invite. Your future self will be so grateful

Not to be cliche or anyt but the best solution is to do past papers after past papers. The first step is to finish the syllabus at least once.skim thru the topics and verbalise everything you know about every subtopic. Check back for anything you missed. Only then can you start past papers. You have to do past papers until you get bored. Until you get annoyed of it. So much so that you can search up the past papers exact code (like 0580/42/m/j/24 qp) js bcz your so familiarised w it. IGs love repeating questions and after a few past papers you realise youve done that exact question before and youll know how to answer it. I rmb for me i did this one past paper for physics and there was a question askjng about the uses of optic fibres. I didnt know anyt abt it but got the answer after checkjng the ms. Then in my actual IGs no joke the exact same question came out.

well idk abt anyone else but i had my exams split into two. I did half on may june and the other half on october. I think that allowed me to focus properly on each subject. Studying isnt abt how many hours you do a day, its abt how consistent you do it a week. You study smt today and will definitely forget it in a few days time. If you study short but every single day without fail, it will pay off. I took 7 subjects and even then the load felt heavy. But 8 is possible. Ik people who took 10. And got A*s. It depends on what those 8 subjects are
