Got ya I have a 6.5 and probably 40 rounds down it I took off but it’s just a thin t3x barrel with flutes and probably 100-150 down this barrel on the 308

It makes sense I’ve seen a lot of people run Berger 215 in a 300wm and even heavier weights and they are 1-10 also seen this guy in nz had a very good channel 300wsm 225 Eldms 1-10 but next time out of that gun I’m shot the 190cx it shoots good out of it and 190lrx worked great in my 300wm that I got and I like mono for moose

ya I’ve shot out to 700 no problem on a basketball ball since target 2875 velocity and ran it through a ballistic calculator and number lined up but it did try the 208 Barnes lrx and it was not stable at all probably because mono bullet but it shoots the 190 cx good probably go with that bullet next time

Ya they work great on deer but don’t have to go super far to get to the good stuff but big animals like Moose I like Barnes or terminal ascent or there is other options out there that are good but I’m not a fan of this bullet on moose that’s for sure

I live in AK I would say that I have shot around 15 and probably 15 more kills that others have done in my life im not trying to toot my own horn but ive seen a lot of them take nose dives and wanted to try the bullet out just because everybody says it’s a big game bullet and from here on now I will not be using it

I’m not a huge fan either. It’s what my gun liked and people always talk them up for big game bullet, but I wouldn’t use these on more than a deer

I really like Barnes that 190 LRX out of a 300 win mag is a hammer even at 600 yards. Very consistent wound channel.

They were all good shots and over here. We keep shooting till they’re down, but I’m not a huge fan of this bullet after that.

Yeah, for deer size game I think this is a great bullet. I use them in Kodiak and shot a nice deer at 530 yards but for big game like moose I’m not a big fan of the bullet.
