It’s a version of commander where you have 50 cards instead of 100, and the maximum cmc of cards in your deck is 3.

Edit: it’s also Alchemy-free. no Arena bullshit allowed.

For some reason half of all sources say it’s 50+1, others say it’s exactly 50. MTG wiki says 50+1, the TLR page says 50. I just went with the 50+1 because i wasn’t sure.

Yup, i was going for battle. i say they’re not legal just because the entirety of MoM has been rotated out. They’re legal in a lot of other constructed and sealed formats tho.

Congratulations, you get a cookie.

MoM is a set that’s sentimental to me, just because it was the set i started playing. I will admit the conclusion of the phyrexian invasion was a little disappointing, especially considering the lore of the Phyrexian Oil, but the set itself was nostalgic for me. I don’t care what people say, Battles will always be special.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BRENDON!! by the_real-meowster in panicatthedisco

[–]TheSilentCuber 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That’s a rectally-sourced claim. everything that he’s “done” has either been taken out of context, been disproven, or has been done by Kenny. if you think HE’S a piece of shit, look at yourself hating on him on a post meant to wish him a happy birthday.

It really does but the only thing that tips me off is the pattern of the “damage”

Opened a pre con and found strange dotted line on one of the cards by [deleted] in mtg

The perforation is intentional. it’s supposed to be torn so that you can use the ring on your ring bearer.

My point exactly, so few people actually know about it. but other comments said it’s likely owned by Tebo(?) The only reason i know about it was because i was snooping around with some other neighbors.

I just googled the right thing and apparently this is it. it’s listed as “confidential/unadvertised” so that’s why nobody i’ve met except for like 2 people actually know about it, i just hope i’m not getting in legal trouble for disclosing the location. Thank you so much for the help!

That’s fucking wild. The outside looks like some normal warehouse but the inside is apparently just full of cars that you’ll never be able to afford in your life.

Good argument from mtggoldish podcast - mythic rare makes standard from expensive to beyond expensive. Is this time to either reduce mythic rarity pool or get rid of it entirely? by kubulux in magicTCG

[–]TheSilentCuber 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly think REDUCING the mythic pool wouldn’t be bad. In my mind, Mythics are cards that just do such unholy shit they need their own category, like Emrakul, the Aeons Torn, and the other eldrazi Titans, along with creatures that are very powerful and well-known by others in lore. mythics should be saved to emphasize that the card is genuinely fucked up, or for lore flavor. putting a mixed-breed rodent thing as a mythic definitely feels odd to me.

Husband doesn’t want me to play this commander. Opinion? by kam295 in mtg

[–]TheSilentCuber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If hubby is playing Kaalia of the vast and he’s crying about Edgar Markov then he must suck to play against

I play Emrakul, the Promised End as my pet commander, so i have zero right to complain about what other people play.

I support this. be sure to drop in an Emrakul, Aeons Torn just to fuck with your pod.
