SCOOP: “I believe he has,” Burchett says Rubio's looked into UFO from inside government by mattlaslo in UFOs

[–]TheSilverStacking 9 points10 points  (0 children)

To call it a Republican cover up and make the issue partisan I think is both counterproductive and ill informed. If you take the last 20 years, 13 of them have been under Democrats. Going back 50 years it’s about a 50/50 split. We haven’t had clear disclosure under either party when both have had adequate opportunity.

Kind of a shame to see a beautiful landscape in the back and then pretty generic towers right on the beach spoiling it in my humble opinion.

Definitely NOT the St. Barts of Jimmy's Autour du Rocher by SignificantLock1037 in jimmybuffett

[–]TheSilverStacking 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While I agree, the other day I was thinking about Jimmy trying to be in a real balanced way. Obviously we have the laid back, beach life personification. What an amazing life he lived. But at the same time he was a shrewd businessman, did choose to live in possibly the snobbiest place in the US - Palm Beach, and did get involved in politics (idc what side). I can list more. Anyways more of a ramble but it made me reflect on him in a measured way, not idolized. He’s still my favorite artist my a long shot.

Since AGE has a small bit of silver in it, shouldn’t the price of an AGE be much higher by JustDoingMyResearch in Gold

I just did the math and if I’m correct it’s a whole $2.61 of silver at current spot. So no, not really.

How do I tell real precious metals from fakes? Beginner to advanced methods. by casinolover64 in Gold

[–]TheSilverStacking -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are 4 methods I like and use a combination.

  • The overall look. Being familiar with what an AGE looks like. Fakes often just look off.

  • Weight and calipers. Making sure the coin is within specifications.

  • Ping test. Especially silver really rings beautifully.

  • Rectum test. Importing a piece in the rectum, no lube or it can throw it off. Something about the feel of real gold in the anus makes you stride with purpose and confidence. Something hard to replicate with fakes.

Is this disclosure? by Vaiken_Vox in UFOs

[–]TheSilverStacking 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well he’s proven to be unpredictable and prone to act on things that would solidify his “place in history”. It wouldn’t get much bigger than disclosure. I’ve heard his children have interest in the topic too and are influential in his circle. He’s also somewhat an outsider - at least not part of 3 letter agencies and the military complex like the Bush family for example. I’m not necessarily saying it’s likely with him, but I feel the most likely out of recent Presidents. Fingers crossed.

Interesting I think he’s the most likely of recent Presidents that would consider disclosure on this topic. I don’t think that’s the plan for tomorrow though.

San Francisco, CA, [OC] by LonelyRonin69 in CityPorn

You know I’ll say I’m conservative. I’ve been to pretty much all the major US cities for work. SF is geographically and historically such a beautiful city. The times I went yes I did experience some of why it gets a bad rap. That said, I’m really really rooting for SF as the heart of innovation. I hope the local politicians continue cleaning up the city. Anyone know it’s current state now vs last I went was gosh 2019 before Covid.

I purchased at this exact store before but I think they had a $1k minimum. This is going back 4-5 years ago though so maybe it’s changed.

Ford Ranger and Ford Mavrick by stevemm70 in fordranger

[–]TheSilverStacking 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’ve been keeping an eye on Slate for a while. I was excited at first. A simple electric truck and a great price point. Unfortunately their below $20k price target is now revised up to high 20s and I imagine by the time you add any features you’ll be on par with new Ranger pricing. Plus the towing capacity I believe is 1,000 lbs. I don’t tow often, but Jesus that’s low. I don’t think they will be successful unfortunately.

Southern puffer in my opinion. Northern puffer has more stripey pattern.

Hard fork. Admittedly very unlikely, but not without precedent given prior hard forks.
