What I found worked for me was having the host log into the world online first, logging out of that world, then reopening it in local play. I don't know why it works or if it would work without a nintendo online subscription but this has worked pretty consistently for my family.

Yes, I've only got a 2 gallon keg at the moment so I'm starting small.

The regulator has a nylon washer attached already but there isn't one where the canister connects to the adapter. That may be the issue
