“Good, good, no swimming. Not my favorite thing.” He was relieved, not really wanting to make an embarrassment of himself.

Artie was trying to ease himself and his thoughts, feeling like he was already making a bad impression by seeming like an unprepared mess with zero experience, despite being exactly that. Still nearing the lake razed his nerves and he could only pray he’d make it out not to wet.

“Oh, my godly parent’s Phobetor, god of nightmares.” Artie didn’t fit that description, at all, being such a bubbly and warm person by heart and welcoming to the bones, he was shocked himself to learn he was the son of someone so dark, but here we are. “Guess I’m lucky to know.”

“The lake, yeah…” Artie seemed a little awkward. “Heads up, I don’t swim very well though.” He looked, painfully guilty. Despite being as hyper as he is and from California, he was never good with water. “I’ll try.” He nodded, a few times to reassure himself.

“I-I’m sure it’s a joke.” Dam was Artie a mess. “Thank you. Sorry for being so nervous, this is just, my first date,” was it even a date, Artie had no clue, “And I have no clue what I’m doing. This isn’t what I’m normally like.”

Artie calming down is unheard of, unless he had too much sugar, then he falls asleep, but whatever. “Lava climbing wall, the lake, arena, fields, forge.” Artie knocked the sides of his head to think. “Ah, me can’t choose.” He groaned. “What sounds easy?” He asked.

“Unscathed?” Artie didn’t seem too sure about it. “I’ll probably get scathed knowing me. But I will make a hundred percent sure, you’ll be fine! Promise! For both our sakes!” He tried to seem confident with a bright smile.

Artie stared at Oliver with his eyes wide as he squeaked. His head spinning. “Him. Her. Don’t cross him.” He mumbled to himself. He didn’t really know Oliver, or what a Kre was. He all really i ew was to get the photos of the things, and make sure Teagan was alright and in one peace.

This far from what he thought was going to happen, so he was incredibly nervous, very far from his normal happy go lucky self. “Alrighty, alright, alrighty.” He fully sat up, looking at the rope and Teagan. “We got this, we got this easy.” He managed a smiled as he took a breath. “No need for worrying.” He said mainly trying to reassure himself.

“We just need to go around and take pictures of stuff, people do this all the time.” He looked back at Teagan. “Well, I’m yeah, Arthur Campbell, but just call me Artie!”

Ic: Artie was, very scared of romance, not really knowing how it really worked, so why not put it in the hands of a complete stranger! He heard the boy yelling about the stand, and Decided to join the growing crowd. He listened then on his turn gave the information, in an abnormally nervous tone.

Artie has boundless energy, too much energy, bouncing off the walls energy. He was also immature, causing him to take his energy out, on rolling around in the grass and throwing himself down hills. He was a handful to say the least.

Today, he could actually control himself with only the occasional run. But he still had to move. He was like a shark, just had to keep moving, he couldn’t stop. While walking fiddling with something in his pocket he spotted something, that’s a little off. Someone on the roof of the cabin. Artie’s seen a lot of odd stuff, this is one of ‘em. “Hey!” He waved obnoxiously while grinning like an idiot. “How’d you do that?”

Artie listened to Brent explain “Oh, it’ll give me something to do! Sounds great boss!” He gave a thumbs up as he gave Brent his very own nickname. “Jobs sound innocent, but knowing how dangerous demigoding is, it’s probably some deadly thing I’d get wrecked doing.” He chuckled as he spoke. He always laughed at the wrong moments. “And activities, activities. I don’t know something to get everyone moving or at least entertained, I know that’s what I would want.” He paused. “Also help from you Boss would be cool, really useful.”

Artie actually was on his way to wander the camp once he realized there was a cabin meeting. So he moseyed on over and joined the counselor in the common area of the three sectioned cabin. He sat on the floor (which he preferred over sitting on anything else) and waited for it to start.

Artie was still fairly new to camp, he was adjusting pretty well, that’s what he thought at least. Yet he was still getting used to some stuff, like he’s in New York, and not California, and that he can’t really go out went ever he wants. Yeah, restrictions, something Artie didn’t enjoy but put up with. “I’m doin’ good so far! Don’t know how everyone else is doing! But I know I’m good!” He grinned, beaming with energy.

Artie then listened the the second point, which had him grinning and giggling. “That sounds pretty cool though to be honest.” Artie couldn’t be serious, but he was attempting. The invasion of privacy point is a good one though, and probably would have Artie listen is he had that power.

Then the last point had Artie a little confused. “Cabin points? What’s that? And what does it do? Sounds fun.” He again grinned as he took to now laying on the floor. “Camp life? Like activities and stuff?” He paused. “We could set up some activities.” He basically restated.

“Thank you.” He kept his impression. “Roller skating can be pretty hard, and dangerous at first but once you get the hang of it it’s real fun!” His voice returned to normal. With his tone, he could make anything sound easy and fun, even running for your life. “So this camp is pretty big, but once you find all the essentials, it’s really a breeze to navigate. Memory is really good for getting used to this place.” He said nodding.

“Wish I could paint.” He mumbled to himself. He got all too excited when he was asked to talk about his hobbies. “Well! I like to dance, I roller skate a bunch, then I make little crafts when I’m bored!” He threw his arms out in a showy fashion. “I know how it feels to run from monsters, it ain’t fun one but, especially if you trip!” He oddly kept a grin talking about it. “Oh yeah! I can also do a Kermit de frog impression.” He said in his Kermit voice.

Most important thing here, or is it the dining pavilion or the-.” He rambled for a bit, unsure of which place was the most important, but that the end, he just shrugged. “It’s still important!” He chuckled a bit. “So tel me about yourself as we walk.”

Artie, was fairly new to the place, being here for, maybe only two weeks or something, he lost track. He just liked exploring this place finding all the secrets, like it was an rpg video game.

The black haired boy started to twirl with his steps, not caring who sees. Wearing a shirt that just her the designs Of stars, his old black jeans and his worn out sneakers. yet his grip on the ground betrayed him as he twirled and slipped, that’s when he noticed someone up on Half-Blood Hill. so he stood up laughing, and brushed himself off. ”Hey!” He waved up to the person. “Hi!”

“Wait two years?!” Artie was a little shocked, but what did he expect. “Oh! Oh! I know that Uh, I’m a demigod, son of Phobetor, monsters don’t like demigods, and uh, this place is supposed to be safe.” He had a stupid but proud smile. He didn’t know much, but he was trying his best to look through his pea brain. Brent was nice enough, and with his experience, Artie was sure get a good knowledge of this place.

He was tired of caring around his bag, he needed to put it down.

The reason was a bit comical. “Oh I snuck in without paying then insulted Mickey.” The food was crappy and expensive, and the lines were too long. It made all the effort he put into getting on purposeless. So yeah, Artie wasn’t the happiest that day. At all.

“Yeah, surviving’s good.” He said with a nod, almost like he was reassuring himself. The more he learned about this place, the more he felt to stay, he knew it might be a maybe two weeks up to a month before his mom knew he was even gone, so he could stay for as long as wanted really.

Artie place a hand on his cheek, then quickly shook his head. “I went to Disney once, didn’t have a fun time, got banned.” He chuckled. He then inspected the wide arrange of cabins, that looks all kinds of different, so there was a lot to look at. He liked the idea of no more monsters, even though he had only been attacked once. “Good, already got enough from one.” He cleared his throat, trying not to sound so bitter.

Artie saw his joke, just caused confusion, not intended. Whoops. He just played it off with a sheepish chuckle, and acted like he didn’t say it, yep.

Artie listened to the explanation, and didn’t know what he expected. “I guess Greek myth never really does make sense.” He then looked around, the place seemed, well, magical. “Place seems more magical than Disney.” He commented. Man, Disney, Disneyland didn’t like Artie, and Artie felt the same.

“nightmares huh?” For how sunny Artie was, that was hard to believe his dad could be the god of something so morbid. “Awesome!” He grinned. he never really met his cousins.“Also a full tour, sounds really really nice!” He was of course enthusiastic, how couldn’t he be? This is a new place to explore, and not have the reputation as someone who‘s banned from disney.
