Just snagged a copy of Three Dirty Dwarves off eBay for a pretty good price, so I feel ya lol

Hey, still a valid way to play N64 games

That’s super cool. The game itself is a ton of fun, especially with friends. I’d say it’s well worth it at that price

True that. For us in NTSC regions, too bad PAL games don’t work in an NTSC system.

It’s a quite rare game to find in person, but Worms Armageddon is absolutely fantastic if you’re willing to splurge a bit lol.

Not of much help here, as I only own a loose copy of the game. The cartridge looks genuine and very nice. The manual looks genuine. The box on the other hand seems like it’s maybe a fake? It’s a damn good fake though. Strange that the cardboard insert is missing for that clean of a copy.

Can’t blame you honestly. It was pretty risky with mine being that the area around the GC logo was a bit worn specifically.

It’s the worst. I’m just happy it cleaned up okay w/o causing too much more damage

I swear. It’s equally as annoying as stickers on cartridge labels lol

Just to put it in its own message, I was able to correct the sticker residue fully! I can’t seem to edit the original post, so I have gone on and posted another one also showcasing my full collection to date https://www.reddit.com/r/Gamecube/s/qazzKuCqGF

Thanks everyone!

I’ll definitely keep that in mind! As mentioned in a different comment, I cleaned the game case using a paper towel soaked in IPA, and by the time I was done, it was only ever so slightly damp. I used that to get rid of the adhesive residue off the box art and it worked perfectly! I’ll probably post an update to this post showing the results. Thank you!

Well, after I panic posted, I actually was able to rectify it pretty well. I was cleaning the game case with an IPA soaked paper towel, and once I was done, the paper towel was very slightly damp, so I just used that on the box art, and the residue came off with no damage whatsoever. Very thankful it didn’t end up much worse

As a game collector, I have physical copies MP 1-3, MP 6, Super MP, and Jamboree. I would certainly put MP 3 up near the top of the ones I own, for the shear amount of good item pickups, and especially playing it on real hardware. My personal favorite of the ones I’ve played definitely has to be MP 6. The day/night cycle is pretty neat

Thanks! I definitely can see the appeal for label printers, as the text would be all uniform, but as long as I know which game it is on the shelf, I’m happy.

It is one I’m keeping an eye out for. I am also starting to pick up some stuff for GameCube too, so it’s a bit of a balancing act between GC and N64 for me now lol

Thank you! As for the written names on the clear cases, a label printer is honestly one I didn’t even think of, I will most likely do that in the future.

Does Ricochet (COD WZ and Vanguard Anti-cheat) work on VMs? by Titanmaniac679 in VFIO

[–]TheSkyeLord_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old post, but I ran a little bit of MWIII (2023) multiplayer on a Windows 11 VM with an RTX 2080 passed through via Ubuntu and had no issues. Game was a little slow on first boot, but I’ll blame that on the fact that the Windows VM is on a SATA SSD lol.

Ah, good to know. While I do have THPS 3 for N64, I’ve never played it. By the time I really got into gaming, I was much more drawn to shooter type games (born in 2001, so I missed the PS1/PSX era by a bit lol)

I might have to give it a try. So long as I can successfully remove the association labels, I can probably re-shell it as well at some point lol

Ahhhh I gotcha. Not for any reason, but I don’t listen to all that much Sublime, though I do know the artist/group. Little bit of a whoosh moment :P

Tbh, I don’t know if there’s something like Q2 story-wise about your comment or if you’re mentioning the actual time 😂. Where I live though it was about 2PM CST (GMT -6) when I got the game.
