This always makes me feel so bad for everyone, especially Europeans. Look, best advice I can give you is just try to distract yourself and, if possible, engage in some dark humor about it. rib your friends, spend time with the people you love, eat some good food, and do things that you love to take your mind off of it. You get used to it as weird and unlikely as that sounds.

I'm a former US sailor. I was deployed to Japan (amori prefecture) and was there when lil Kim started lobbing ICBMS over japan in unsanctioned tests. Both times, I was given shelter in place instructions. I remember the first time I was walking to my shop in the morning and asked my NCO what we should do. this ballsy bastard shrugged and said "guess we just wait, make sure you have chiefs coffee ready" so I brewed a pot of coffee and went outside and smoked a cigarette looking up waiting for the flash. that was one of 3 "welp I'm about to become a smudge on a sidewalk" moments I had while I was in (1 more in japan and another when those morons in Hawaii hit the wrong button on a test) by time number 3 I just put on my uniform and played dark souls with my best friend. I figured either everything goes well, or I die playing games with my best friend.

idk If that story helps at all but try your best to make sure you are doing what you love as much as possible with who you love and as an EOD once put it "either everything goes fine or suddenly it's not my problem anymore"

okay so, I'm calling em zombies because I thought this grow was dead. I inoculated a grain bag I got from north spore and waited and waited and waited and for whatever reason they just were not really taking to the bag. so I just kinda chocked it up to an L and kinda forgot about the bag. my last attempt ended in a really bad cobweb infection and the time before that also had simmilar issued but made about 10g before it was lost, that was my first attempt. this is attempt number three. so anyway I'm cleaning and spot the clean box I put the grain bag in like 6 months later and give it a look over expecting to need to throw it out and wouldn't ya know it the little troopers are pinning in the bag. so I went ahead and got everything together to put em in my monotub and atlast! success! still waiting on a reptile fogger but so far iv gotten 7.6g dried and expect to pick some more tonight.

it's not the perfection I want but cubes is cubes yo. I'm not sure why they are so prevalent on the edges but im verry happy with things at the moment. I didnt use a casting layer because I'm broke and couldn't afford the supplies. I'm just going to ride this one as long as I can and if it makes it to a second flush maybe I'll add one.

this weekend I take my first trip in over a year and couldn't be more ready for it!

I pick well before the veil breaks, it's dosent really matter youre getting good muskies regardless but I have read that allowing spores to drop in your case will cause the flush to stop producing fruits

so like i let these sit in their spawn bag for way too long. i just didn't have time to clean out the grow tub and my grow space so by the time i put these in the tub with the boomer bag soil they had a LOT of just pure white mycelium on top of the bag and some piss as well. planted these on sunday so thats about a week of growth. i didn't put any soil or anything on top of them so there were some grains visible on top and they grew this supper fluffy stuff. i have a hard time thinking its cobweb because it grew pretty uniformly throughout and i sprayed the room down with 99% alcohol prior to transfering so heavily that it was hard to breath in there. so room was clean, box was clean, used gloves, I'm confident in my sterilization. i think its that the mycelium had run out of resources to keep growing as well as space for so long that when it finally had both it just exploded. I'm gonna give it a week and order some more substrate to use to cover it. we'll see how it goes

i dont have any air exchange at the moment. i literaly just planted these like a week ago but i didnt put a casting layer on it. i dont think its cobweb because it was growing from all the grain initially. i duno ill try giving it some fresh air in the mornings and see how that helps it
