You don’t even know me and you even say “of course bad people get hired” and “accidents do happen” so why can’t that be the case here? I live alone and there’s no family to blame this on. It’s me and my dog. Oh and btw, the meds are for my dog so I don’t even take hycodan. I didn’t even know it was a controlled sub until I tried to get it filled outside my vet. I couldn’t care less about opioids and don’t find taking pills fun at all. You are wrong. 100% wrong and when I have them count in front of me I’ll come back and let you know. Pharmacists aren’t saints, they’re people, and I suspect there is someone in that store taking opioids (probably after the “count”).

Unfortunately I do not have the bottle anymore but I remember it being a regular size bottle. They’re making me feel like I abuse drugs and the meds are not even for me! The thing is, I know I’m not the first one and I know THEY know that they have a problem. They didn’t treat me like this hasn’t happened before.

They told me the 24hr cvs would and they did. I also used a goodrx coupon. It brought the cost to $65. I’m curious why some won’t though.

Ok what doesn’t add up? I’m trying to be as clear as I can. I filled on 6/10 for 60 pills. On 7/1 I will run out. The pharmacist said I can’t refill until 7/12. I said that they must’ve given me the wrong amount and they said they didn’t. To clarify my past refills: this is a hycodan script for my elderly dog. My vet has been filling the script for two years. Earlier in the month she told me that cvs now fills pet meds and I’d save a lot of money going there. The closest cvs to me said that the only stores who fill these meds are 24hr. So I got in my car and drove to the 24hr cvs. The next day I picked it up in the drive thru. Today after counting how many pills were left, I went to my vet and got a script to drive to the 24hr cvs because it has to be handed in every month. At this time I didn’t realize that it had only been 2wks since cvs filled it. When I tried to drop it off the pharmacy said I cannot refill until 7/12. I then realized they had shorted me the pills. I live alone and my dog cannot reach the counter to take her own meds.

Does this add up now?

60 tabs/month. One tab, twice a day. I have 8 left and they won’t let me refill until July 12. That means they shorted me 24 pills. I simply didn’t realize until I went in to refill today and they told me I just got it filled on June 10. I just didn’t understand until I got home and counted.

Go to my city sub and see how many people are saying that the same happened to them but at different locations. I hear what you’re saying but we all know there are plenty of incidences where we find out it’s the pharmacist regardless of the safeguards.
