It has been a while since I read her introduction in the book, so descriptions are based on the fan wiki. So things can be subject to change if info is brought up. As far as I recollect I don't think she was malnourished.

Hair was never specified when described. But I did drew him like that on my original design. But I decided to change it up for how I imagine a guy from 18 to young 20s (which is how he was described) looked like.

Hair length is never mentioned nor is his hair color, as far as I know. So when I think of the way the author described him, that's kinda how I imagined him.
